Sure, the Wii tends to not be very "advanced" in its technology because it has a sensor bar while the Move doesn't, and also the fact that its motion sensors don't work as well as the Move. BUT, the problem with Move is that, yeah, while it has no sensor bar, it requires constant calibration, which gets unbelievably annoying, and doesn't feel very "advanced." That's what's nice about the Wii, it's that you don't have to calibrate it.

That game that they showed is actually a game for the DSi Ware, which uses the camera to see what angle you're tilting the DS at and the image on the screen changes according to that. At the time, the 3DS was supposed to look like this, but it's November now. They changed the way it's going to work.

You can't find a video of the 3D effects, because you can't see it on camera.

I hope they decide to release better games on this than on the DS. Not saying that the DS doesn't have any good games, just saying there's only a handful of them. Nintendo's weakest point is that they only like to develop games that require the IQ of a kindergartner to master.

@Bri10anna10 It's not just going to be another DS with a 3D effect. It's an entirely new system, with new hardware, new processing power, all of it. It's not just another version of the DS.

The 3DS, besides having a 3D effect you can turn on or off, is going to have enough power to run PS2 and Gamecube-level games. They even had a demo of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on it.

Too many people think it's just another DS. It really isn't. It's a brand-new handheld.

@Bri10anna10 Ah... well, Nintendo always aims to match the battery life of their previous handheld whenever they make a new one, so it should get the same battery life as the DS/DS Lite/DSi. That'd be around 8-10 hours on highest brightness, 15+ hours on lowest setting.
