Avira's firewall is crap. Was getting 500+ pings on WoW. Turned it off and turned Windows firewall back on and I'm back down to 81.

I tested older version (10.2.0.703) few days ago by scanning folder with malware samples and it did really good (above 90% detection) but when I run malware for which Avira doesn't have signature it quickly infected your system which was rendered unusable.

Avira is good pure antivirus but needs something to go with it for 0-day malware.

Yes, Avira strong detection by signatures and heuristic, but don't have any proactive protection like other freeware -Avast, Comodo, AVG. unfortunately I don't find nothing new in this version except GUI. :(
