Something I noticed about his singing is that...well...prominently...

He doesn't sing from his chest or stomach like I am used to hearing people sing from. He sings from his throat, and its a weaker sound.

I'm guessing he's never had any formal training. Sure there are plenty of bands who have made it big even though their singer hasn't ever been trained,

but in CB's case it was more of a hindrance...IMO.

I still adore their music though. Especially when they had Luminor.

@Wyllowamaramuse alot of good bands didnt even have great singers...especially live, take stephen pearcy of ratt 4 example, amazing band, amazing songs, good on CD, but live? stephens voice was a train wreck. i think strifys is amzing live <3 most singers are better i nstudio when things can be altered than live..very few great singers on their own
