Of course this is outstandingly beautiful and amazing,, but those 20 seconds between 1:26 and 1:46, are some of the best 20 seconds in my life, you can almost touch the tension, it´s unbelievable
@ishouldpractice OOHH wow I looove a transcription of this!! fender_62_@hotmail.com thanks man, great transcription choice! Lenny Breau in his prime- uncomparable!
I have transcribed this video - if you'd like the pdf, drop me an email an i'll send you a link (the link on here looks like spam)... what a video, love it!
CBC TV 5:00pm after school during the 60's . Could not drag myself away from listening and watching. Too beautiful for words even now was/is Lenny. Wonders
Is the bass player not a (very) young Ronnie Halderson?
I was very fortunate to have two lessons from Lennie in 1974 while I was in Winnipeg for few months - he was a beautiful guy and I miss him - I learned so much from Lennie, what a wonderfully generous man!
I met him (and heard him play at MI) back in 1984. About two weeks before hi died he called me up and asked me if I could lend him a guitar amp for a gig (he had probably pawned his for H $). he came over and borrowed my Music Man with a 12 inch EV speaker and promptly returned it the next day. A soft spoken, kind man and yes; a true genius.
This is pure gold!

This is it. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I need to make my guitar a part of me. So much left to learn, but never enough time.

@regismanemago No he's not. He didn't even play electric bass at that time. Still a mystery!
