Apparently you folks who think this is retarded haven't heard of one of the first guide horses named Cuddles. A mini-horse makes a lot more sense in many ways as they live a lot longer than a dog and aren't prone to the hip problems that a lot of the large bred dogs often fall to as they hit their teens.
The mini's don't go to the bathroom all over the place, they are house broken just like any dog.

The last cab driver to refused my service dog lost his cab license to me, was sued and lost that too. Now, he's jobless and he deserves it.

New York, New York... he was attempting to force me out of the cab because of my service dog. I broke his nose when he grabbed me and called the Police and had him arrested for assault.

Why didn't he want your service dog in his cab? Was it for religious reasons?

We didn't get that far prior to his attempts to harm my service dog and assault me. I saw a threat, took care of the threat and that was that. Relgous reasons are not good enough. If he wants to work in this country in a field where he's obligated to provide a service in accordance to the laws than that's a choice he makes when he accepts his cabbie license.

I think that was mean to sue him, that was his lively hood. I think some agreements should be made to get over this silly situation. To deny a disabled person a ride because of a dog is plain disgusting to me, and I'm a muslim. I mean there's newspaper or sumthin to spread on the seat for the dog, i dunno..but to deny a blind guy a drop, that's just stupid man. And i think a lot of people are more unhygienic than a dog anyday..lol

shnizzlelillylex: In a land of laws, such as this, it's not mean to sue someone who assaults you... it's punishment. Please don't bring religion into the debate. Your practices are none of my business. Service Animals are trained to not "soil" where they shouldn't. He was acting on histeria and ignorance.
