Art Farmer is way up there with the greats! What a super-soulful, heart-full, tasteful trumpeter. One of my favorites of the cool jazz era - along with Gerry Mulligan (his friend), Dizzy Gillespie, Monk, Brubeck and Desmond, Mingus, Getz, Chet Baker, on and on etc. An age of coolness and innovation the likes of no musical period before or since.
