I remember when these public annoucement hit the airwaves/cable. The state, local and Fed. goverment didn't know how to handle the crack epidemic back then. You can tell listening to the dialogue, crack was never about being cool, it was about chasing that high the first time you did it. You never get there but you are still trying until everything you are and have is gone. Cocaine was the 'cool' drug. Crack was a different beast in it's own category.

Type 3 is the coke head. All they do is coke, and hate rock heads. Type 4 is the heroin addict. They do heroin and smoke rocks all the time.
