This was my coaster, I was so scared. but now I love coasters. its so sad its closed. I wished I had the money to buy it and fix it up. I had a lot of family memories here.

My first coaster.. This park is so much better than cedar point to me. Geauga Lake felt like a nice small neighborhood, while cedar point feels like freaking NYC! That may not make sense fully, but the point is that I want this back so much and it never will be here again....

Double Loop was the first roller coaster in the world with two consecutive back-to-back loops. It was my first metal (and looping) coaster, and I always loved it.

Now, it is gone forever. Thanks Cedar Fair. :(

My dad rode this back in like 87 and his shoulder restraint was locked and he just held it against him as hard as he could and he didn't fall out.

It was my first roller coaster also, I begged my father to take me on the ride then got to the top and wanted off...I was only 4 years old... It was very sad when I went to the water park. you can see all the roller coasters and junk all over... I went there one time, never again, too upsetting for me

This was the first coaster I ever went on. I'm going to miss that place. Now it's just a water-park. I still love Cedar Point but Geagua Lake was closer and the park being smaller was cool cuz it was quicker to get around.

Cool video. I believe this was one of Arrow's first looping coasters they made.

My friend and I rode this over 30x's in a row one summer. The ride ops were cool and the park not that busy. Thats what made the park. It was not the concrete giants of today. I will sadly miss this park

It's sad to think that nobody will ever ride this one again. It was a fun little coaster and I can't think of another park I've been to that featured a coaster with two loops in succession (not that I'm an authority on rollercoasters).

There was another one at Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. Laser and what made it awesome was it just had lap bars for a restraint. Unfortunately Cedar Fair removed it at the end of last season.

judt demolited today, how incredibly sad. I didn't ride that when I took a trip to GL last year, no I am regreting it. Big dipper was a classic woodie, and apparently it won't be used for riding perposees in it's new home, but as a landmark, where it will stay unused forever :'(

The last hill on this ride into the brake run hurts SO bad. The rest of the ride is decent, but the end is a killer. Too bad its not operating anymore

who cares if it isnt the greatest ride, and all the rides at geauga lake were fairly desent, you probably only been there once, and that was probly when cedar fair hhad ownership of this park, when it was six flags there were 5 other rides that cedar fair took down, and none of the stupid cedar point rides have any rich history, a couple of record breakers, but thats it, just about every single ride at GL had history to it, and not everyones favorite cedar point did!!

I love this ride--too bad it is screaming for a paint job. Was much nicer when it was all black. I was the manager of this ride in 1996, so it will always be a favorite. Sad to see it is in such bad physical shape.
