But where racial divisions go and how to categorise people by race varies amongst racists. I was simply pointing out that there are significant genetic differences amongst humans based on genetic ethnicity (simplified as "race").
That is questionable as well. A person with a penis might very well in actuality be a woman, yet we define that person has a man based on physical appearance, which arguably makes gender a social construct as well.
It's the same with race. We see sub-saharan Africans as one race while within Africans there is more genetic variation than between Asians and Europeans. We only judge on physical appearance. But whether there is a genetic race... I don't know.

If tourism ever declined on any of those islands, they would be as bad or worse than Haiti, and people visiting these islands who make the mistake of venturing outside the tourist area often wind up dead.

That is questionable as well. A person with a penis might very well in actuality be a woman, yet we define that person has a man based on physical appearance, which arguably makes gender a social construct as well.
It's the same with race. We see sub-saharan Africans as one race while within Africans there is more genetic variation than between Asians and Europeans. We only judge on physical appearance. But whether there is a genetic race... I don't know.

For the majority of the history of the human race traveling around the world was limited to the amount of food you can carry on your back or on your horse (if you were rich enough to afford a horse) and the distance you can cover in a day of walking. This means physical traits favorable to the local environment was selected for survival.

Not everyone region with Blacks declines into poverty. Haiti is only one country and you have White and Asian countries in poverty as well. There is poverty in Japan and Britian believe it or not and you have rich people in Haiti. You still have other Caribbean islands such as the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Jamacia, Dominica etc and from the looks of it, they dont see in poverty

Most of the carribean islands are heavily impoverished with the exception of the tourist areas. If tourism ever declined on any of those islands, they would be as bad or worse than Haiti, and people visiting these islands who make the mistake of venturing outside the tourist area often wind up dead.

Most of Carribean are fairly rich, actually. Dutch Antilles; Barbados; Trinidid; Tobago; Bahamas; British Virgin Islands; Barbuda; etc.
The exception are Jamaica and Haiti, but the majority of Afro-Carribean countries are rich, and many are more rich than European countries.
Bahamas has an income of 30,000 per capita, which is higher than Italy. Virgin Islands has an income of 44,000 per capita.
And most of these countries have little crime.

i doubt they'd do so well in say...detroit, harlem, compton, camden, or the ENTIRE continent of Africa itself...for example. and it's not like Africa doesn't have resources.
