Great cover dude sure your not doing it the same as LOG but it still sounds very good, also just some pointers they tend to do mostly down picking if you watch them live its hard for this song I would know I can play almost all of wrath myself but yeah just some pointers but other than that great job bro

@musicaws thanks dude yea i know they downpick alot and i have a good ear for calling out what is downpicked and what is not. songs like reclamation or shoulder of your god have alot of it and if you watch my covers of those youll see i do it. This song dosnt seem to require it as much as you might think. Theres not to much agressive attack in this song.

@musicaws You dont know nothing about lamb of gods style. They do more alternate picking than anyone in metal. Watch some of there videos on here. Mark Morton explains how they get such a heavy sound with alternate picking and how its hard to get down just right. This was a very good cover by ear. Dont change what your doing its very good.

Pretty much what he said look into speed picking practices along with dexterity exercises strengthen your tendons in your picking fingers and picking wrist along with gaining a high sense of muscle memory for timing. Also when picking try your damnedest not to use your elbow when speed picking you'll wear your rotator cuff down quicker than Opera's cashflow during a trip to Barnes and Nobles.

Ok, How do you get to Drop C# from standard. Is'nt it 1 1/2 steps down from standard? But my question is if it's 1 1/2 steps down from standard, then you would be playing power chords on the Low E and A strings, but shouldn't you be able to play bar chords?

no thats not it drop C# would be Drop D droped half step only the E string is being droped 1 1/2 from standard the rest are just droped 1/2 so its C# G# C# F# A# D# or Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb

thats right i would suggest to get a chromatic tuner so you can just tune to the notes you want rather then just eadgbe if you want it drop C which is CGCFAD you would just the string and it would say what note its in rather then saying its an E or its not an E

yes it does on mine there a # sign and there will be a square around it when i go to a sharp note tehre isnt a flat because a sharp is the same thing if you wanted Db you would just tune to C# since its the same note

Pretty cool dude! One thing though, i really strongly recommend you try and cut down on all that movement with your thumb when alternate picking (especially when you change strings). You really want as much of the movement to be coming from the wrist as possible. You are not doing it all the time but every now and then your thumb goes a bit crazy and that is when you start to get sloppy. You will have alot more control if you manage to cut that down..Keep it up!
