All I've got to say is, wait until you're Mike Reno's age before you criticize! Not many people in their 40s/50s look younger than they are unless they go under the knife!
The New album . One word. INCREDIBLE.....Thanks Mikey and the Boys for All the years of entertainment. I always enjoy the interviews of mikes... got to laugh cause the guy is funny and seems pretty down to earth. Rock on guys ... your still great.
age is not kind to some people, we will all be there one day, some of us will stand the test of time, some of us wont...i suspect all the people who criticize the way he looks are under 35...
I think Mike may be on Steroids to counter some medical problem he may have. That's a common reaction to bloat up in the face and body. Not much you can do to off set that. He obviously has a hecktic schedule and to keep going may have to resort to them. Still great guy still great pipes...he can definitetly still sing saw him in West Palm Beach year and a half ago....keep rocking Mike.
When Mike Reno played at Montana's Bar and Grill in Toronto, he was the nicest and warm person you could meet from 80's rock. I care very little about personal appearance. He is a great muscian and a better person.
He is a nice guy, funny too--I've met him myself on a couple of occasions. That doesn't change the fact that if he wants to live to hit the high notes in "Turn Me Loose" for another few years he needs to lay off the Moosehead.
scary, isn't it?? Just try and remember the good old days...it's much easier, and you won't need therapy for trying to get the visual of his current look out of your mind.
That's why I won't go see Loverboy now. I saw them about five years ago and was horrified by Mike then, but he's gotten even worse. I was so madly in love with him when I was sixteen ... sigh ...
I feel for you. I was also one of the many teens who had a crush on Mike way back when. These days when I drive, I listen to my greatest hits cd probably every other day but, I'm sorry to say the crush is gone.
interesting that Mike's story of babysitting Edward Van Halen backs up many of the stories we've heard about Ed's out of control behavior. Hope Ed gets the help he needs in rehab.

Technically, I don't think a fondness for Little Debbies is considered to be a "medical problem."

He may be a nice and warm guy, but he's approaching the size of Montana. It looks like a swallowed a buffalo.

OMG!! What the hell happened to Mike Reno? Yeah, everyone gets old but he looks AWFUL, considering how hot he was back in the eighties.
