And what made CM Punk into a star was that shoot or worked shoot he made before MITB,if anything Cena made Punk. He had such a bright future in WWE, he was over with the help of the vets, the crowd loved him, appealed to children, adult males, and women. He was a decent wrestler, could tell a story, and was just flat out entertaining. Too bad you threw it all away... Such a damn shame, you were one of favorites Jeff.

Jeff didn't make Punk anything...after he left wwe punk was still in the same spot with fans, belt or no belt, just last year he was recovering from injury with no fan particularly excited for his return. If anything got punk over it was his last feud with Cena and his worked shoot before MIB.

This was also done after Jeff left and Matt was released. Why on earth would Punk do a shoot with two guys that worked for WWE's competition? If you don't believe me think about it from that perspective...it makes no sense.

The fact is, he DID make CM Punk. Without the awesome fued with Jeff Hardy, Punk may not have been in a position to go up for his recent push against Cena.
Btw I've read a lot that guys backstage dont really like Punk, that he's way too cocky this early into his career. Meaning, a guy like Taker does NOT see CM Punk as this "savior" everyone is calling him.
