From what I know... you wouldnt be able to open that thing even if you wanted to... you need something like 2 tonnes of pressure to actually get it open.

Actually it's just the opposite, the cabin is pressurized, that why there is alot of pressure on the door. But there are systems preventing you from opening it, so you're partly correct.

i know on the newer aircraft they have a lock on the door called the Cooper lock after the famous skyjacker that wont let any of the doors open while the plane is in flight
