While this video does suck and the vocab is dreadful I think the "holier than thou" attitude towards people playing games that were from a time before them is kind of petty. There are plenty more pressing things to criticise this guy over... namely using the video game vault title.

@davidleeroz unlike movies, which can be appreciated by any era as long as the story's good, video games are really something that you have to be there to appreciate. Technology has just moved on so rapidly that if you were to play a game like Contra today having not grown up with it, you wouldn't have the same appreciation for it since a game like Halo is worlds better than it. People who have been there might tend to disagree with what I just said, but that's my point.

@LOSTHOMEY1 well whether Halo is worlds better is really an opinion thing. i think Halo is a pretty boring game for the most part - graphics and capabilities etc might be more impressive but gameplay wise it gets disinteresting pretty fast. But a game like Contra is timeless to me - it was right there when everything started and has the core gameplay elements that keep people playing it. Nothing flashy to anybody now days, just lots of fun
