@Mr8bitgamer the studio version was produced after john's death, and if you listen to the demo version it's a very basic version not even featuring the words ''nobody told me'' but rather a chorus consisting of john repeating the words ''strange days indeed''. as it was released on milk and honey, which is a posthumous album, john had no controll over the the production and release and therefore didn't choose the title.
