  • LOVE this movie i was 10 when i first saw it..... LOVEEEEE

  • classic movie!!

  • There was another song associated with the movie, sung by Oren Waters, titled "Strong is the Urge." The song was very beautiful, and Oren's voice was perfect. Too bad it's not available; lost talent and music yet once again!

  • Ha, I remember seeing this in the early 80's on hbo passed my bedtime...can't believe its been more than 20 years ago.

  • @Tusc9969 Me too. Remains one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. So in love with Michelle Johnson back then.

  • @Tusc9969 weren't we all in love with her :O) world sure has changed ha...not very good now at all, world's gone to hell, this was a stupid movie, how true, but still good you know what I mean...like now there are 10 HBO's...an embarrassment of riches...what do we need "10" HBO's for, back then there was so little but so much...now there's so much but so little...

  • @28october19731 "world's gone to hell" "back then there was so little but so much...now there's so much but so little.." Best thing ive read all day lol and so true!

Seems like everyone has gone greedy, divisive, crazy etc And whats with all this reality tv crap anyway lol but atleast we have our modern technology like the net and smartphones and other goodies(although we're still behind a bit)

I guess its time for me to jump into my DeLorean time machine and go back!

  • @Tusc9969 thanks, good to hear some people agree with me a little, I'm going crazy these days I tell ya, the net, smart phones etc. are nice to have given the easy access to info. etc. but I think technology etc. is the main culprit behind what's happened to the world these last almost 30 years, its shot human creativity to hell (look at the music/movies now-utter crap), has isolated everyone as no one feels they need anybody anymore, I sit and ponder what will life be like in another 25 yrs.

  • @Tusc9969 oh yeah, reality tv is an utter joke :O) I think it's developed because the talent to be like actors of the past simply is gone, society simply has not replaced over time what it has lost...

  • lol this was the stupidest movie ever.

  • Not all sequels are the same - take Star Wars for instance - and I do enjoy this movie - been watching it over and over for a long time...

  • Gemini you're right about the chemistry, these guys were great and the comedic timing perfect.

Music was so sweetly 80's pop with Brazilian samba touches, marvelous.

  • love it so much one of the songs sounds like michael jackson anyone know it

  • I must be doing something right, I also thought it was Micheal Jackson but its by a guy name Troy Johnson

  • @Piratejenny25 wow thanks for that. Do you like dirty rotten scoundrels its kinda funny in the same way?

  • Thanks Pirate - I loved the soundtrack too

  • Well, some sequels weren't all that bad. Perhaps they could have done another comedy together. I do enjoy the movie and have since I saw it when it first came out in 1983.

  • I love the music in this movie!

  • i love this flick

  • Great movie - Michael Caine and Joe Bologna had great chemistry, it's a shame they didn't do a sequel.

  • A crazy moive with fast jokes and .....Its like theater!
