No, a Constitutional Republic with Guarantees of Individual Liberty and Freedom is better than any Democracy. Democracy is not a good form of government nor should it ever be considered a form of government, but only a tool with which to select representatives to stand up for those rights. Unfortunately, the demagogues of Democracy are winning the argument with sophistry and propaganda and have been taking our liberty away one regulation and law at a time.

Nope, I prefer a Republic ruled by a Constitution which protects as it's highest virtues: Liberty and Freedom. Democracy as a form of Government is just as bad as a Right-Wing Oligarchy or a Stalinist Slave State.
Liberty and Freedom are not up for a vote... but the way things are going... it seems they are increasingly on the ballot to be voted away in the name of some radical egalitarian policy.
