  • Lol I remember when Triple H did the pedigree on him then he just got back up and danced around like nothing happened.

  • I've read most of the comments and I agree this looks like an unplanned bodyslam. Andre was understandably pissed. But I question if there was an absolute "no bodyslam" rule regarding Andre. There is footage of another Warrior-Andre match from this time frame where he bodyslams him again but this one looks planned. Search Youtube for "Andre the Giant bodyslam" and it is included in a long video montage of Andre getting slammed by various wrestlers over his career.

  • is that Tony Shavonie on commentary???

  • @MeThinks995 Yes! For about a year around 1989-1990 Schiavone worked for the WWF.

  • @Wingnutcaseman That's nto why he was fired, this match happened before they even gave him the title belt

  • @SadisticScott I didn't write that he was fired for it. Just saying that, if Andre was THAT outraged by the bodyslam in MSG, the Warrior wouldn't have done it again the next month in the Spectrum.

  • he was told not to slam andre and still did , thats why vince fired him

  • why did he leave or quit or get fired from wwf? did him n vince not get along or wats the story on him?

  • @blade83336 He wasn't showing up to work on certain nights (even after he was promoted to show up). That's a BIG NO NO in the industry. (Source: The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD)

  • @1bzoe did he have any excuses or reasons? or was it cause he was just doin drugs or cause he felt that u could do anything since he was a famous popular wrestler at that time?

  • @blade83336 There isn't a clear reason. Mostly because although the DVD is about him, we don't get to hear his point of view. But going by the way he is made to look like in the DVD, I'd say the latter. Even he admits in later interviews that he was a jerk.

  • @1bzoe Warrior makes YouTube videos now and he doesn't seem to take any responsibility for his "self destruction." He thinks he did everything right.

  • What is with all this fighting. First of all during the 70's, 80's, and early 90's it was popular to believe that if a guy was huge (fat or tall or even both) that they were tough and unbeatable. After the New Generation all that ended however.

Now about the punching that I hear is being discussed. They do hit each other with open fists. That means that they can't clinch their fist when they punch their target. It is mean't for safety, not to trick people into believing something.

  • Ahahahahahaha!!!!

  • @TheMJwrestling What song?

  • I Love this video anyone knows the song?

  • @oldschool6804 OMG

seriously, people still complaining about my comment that is RIGHT!

WOW U GUYS NEED TO GROW UP -_-

  • @nightotter54 Yeah?I guess?I mean to say that guys like Miz and Cena are lackluster and really only provide a 1 dimensional character and experience and then they say they are a better generation than the Attitude Era??Seriously though??WTF??Austin,Rock,Hunter,Taker have never admitted to being either good nor bad but have since given us both sides.Miz and Cena only give 1!

  • I hate watching videos like this, simply because it reminds people of just how great the WWF/E was back in the day as opposed to todays lackluster roster of "Super Stars&Divas".Andre and Savage are spinning in their respective graves right now!

  • its funny how when hogan body slammed him,he got a teared muscle, but warrior body slammed him and nothing lol

  • @willysaywat2435 Yeah...OK! Warrior got a freakin' elbow to the ribs! You did watch right?

  • Insane...I know Warrior was and still is a big dude but, how the hell do you not get a hernia slamming the giant? I get the whole concept of how help goes...as far as the guy who's actually being slammed starts the momentum for the slam(to an extent)....but still that's alot of friggin weight regardless. I think Ho Kogan said he tore his pec when he slammed andre but that's about it.

  • Wow!!! This is the only video of jouc12 and has over a 1.000.000 views

  • Was that schiavone commentating?

  • @jest544 Why whats wrong with Procpecia ?

  • Lex luger vs ultimate warrior who is stronger and who wins in a match

  • how how

  • Andre was unbeatable in his peak.

  • The warrior bodyslamming yokozuna that would of been cool

  • @TheMrsuperman2000 Luger did, that was cool too!

  • The ultimate warrior has never been beatan clean ...the matches that he did lose would from cheating

  • why do things from the past seem so ridiculous compared to things of the same nature from the present?

  • @MrTheBumjack It can be the other way around too ya know.

  • This is why no matter how hard Vince tries to lie about Warrior or how much they try to forget, he is a huge icon in wrestling.

  • @hinatasexslave They don't lie. They just kinda shoo him away since he's totally crazy.

  • AMAVING QUALITY DUDE!!

  • People say Ultimate Warrior lost clean to Andre the Giant but I seen three different matches and Andre the Giant won none of them.

  • @jason60152

Genickbruch, a wrestling site with an immense database of wrestling records, has 64 matches between the Warrior and Andre recorded and Andre lost every single one.

  • @zharziss Thanks man i'm tired of people telling me Ultimate Warrior lost to him:)I didn't know they fought 64 times! There must have been a lot of house shows between them that wasn't on TV.

  • @jason60152 Just to finish the statistics, 13 more times they faced and the match ended without a winner. So there are 77 recorded matches.

  • @zharziss Thanks has Ultimate Warrior ever lost a match without outside interference?

  • @jason60152 I don't remember one. The Warrior lost a whole bunch of Steel-Cage matches in early 1991 against Sgt. Slaughter at house shows. It's harder to interefere in such matches, maybe he lost one of those cleanly.

  • @zharziss Ok thanks

  • @zharziss Warrior never lost cleanly to anyone, some asshat always interfered

  • Best wrestling video clip ever!!

  • wairror.kings. saudi .aribei

  • all the little Warriors helped him

  • Botch fest....

  • Andre was a crap wrestler, awful. He was only over because he was tall and fat.

  • @UltimatePhilster WTF Since when does being fat make you over in the wrestling?

  • @subzerowarrior1 It doesnt, but being over 7ft tall and fat did back then. People thought Andre was unbeatable, even though he was a crap wrestler.

  • @UltimatePhilster Ok I see what you mean, especially with all the obese or jacked up steroid users back in the 70s and 80s.

  • @UltimatePhilster alot of finishers is based on andre giants moves he done oringally daily basis study abot him alittle longer, you'll realize he actually was undefeated for 15yrs b4 hulk hogan beated him*cheat* and i have proof about that actually. but anyways Loving this generation!already!!! :)

  • Andre ist such a bad wrestler. Look at that sell....

  • first thing I thought was that why is it a good idea to drop a man as large as Andre that hard? Sucks for Andre, the gentle giant fellow

  • we have all heard that the warrior must have had them all removed i would have loved to see andre knock that asshole out cold god forbed some1 ever hurt the warrior for real

  • Camera man must be fired after this on he fucked up the best slam in wwe history...

  • Did Andre try to punch him in the nuts then kick him? lol.

  • @Maleknia Yes he did... Andre had an injured back at the time and had told Warrior NOT to do the slam.. when Warrior did it anyway Andre was ticked.... He tried to find Warrior in the locker room later that night... not story related.

  • @connormalone, I guess Andre did not find Warrior that night, and we can guess who was lucky.

  • THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR REALLY PICKED HIM UP AND SLAMMED HIM....NOT LIKE HOGAN WHERE ANDRE THE GIANT JUMPED INTO THE SLAM TO HELP HOGAN W THE SLAM

  • @Jasoneberhart I just typed in Hogan slams andre the Giant and Andre didn't bounce off the ropes or jump into the slam. What are you talking about?

  • um. What the hell was Andre doing when the Warrior was going for the splash? Andre just looks like one big walking botch job.

  • @Crankshaft87 I think Andre was pissed that the Warrior did that since it wasn't in the script. Warrior just wanted to show off so Andre was going to make him look bad by not selling the move well. That is my theory. Supposedly Andre hated working with the Warrior. He didn't like how reckless he was in the ring.

  • @jfearless1 Don't listen to everything bitter old man on vince's payroll have to say on that stupid dvd that was made to make warrior look like a idiot if he was that bad he would never have been put in wm6 and beat hogan in his prime, anybody who understands wrestling knows that. Warrior asked for more money he was kicked out and people who were jealous of him especially nobodys like bobby henan came out with that bullshit. Not everybody can kiss ass like hogan does.

  • @y2g1983 I wouldn't call Bobby Heenan a nobody. He was responsible for making heels and allowing guys to become faces simply if they turned on him like Paul Orndorf or Terry Taylor. He was very smart and witty who did awesome commentary. He also was the manager of Andre so it isn't like Andre wouldn't have confided in him. The reason I don't believe Andre didn't like working with him isn't off what Heenan said. It was how Andre acted with him in the ring. Just watch this video.

  • @y2g1983 Everyone mentions how Hogan was such an ass kisser yet if he truly were an ass kicker he would have turned out like Shawn Michaels, HHH, and the Undertaker. Those are the real ass kissers which is why they are treated like gods in the WWE. When HHH and the Undertaker were about to face each other at Wrestlemania they were talking about each other as if they were the most legendary forces in wrestling. They are so hyped up because the WWE machine puts them on a pedestal for their

  • @y2g1983 years of service of kissing Vince's ass. Hogan had left WWE for WCW and has done many interviews dissing Vince. He even works for TNA to compete with the WWE. Yeah during the time he was employed with Vince he was very gracious. Who wouldn't be gracious to their boss for making them money? That isn't ass kissing. That's being grateful. Yet when Vince didn't show Hogan respect Hogan left. That doesn't sound like an ass kisser. If Warrior were more grateful he would be very

  • @jfearless1 rich and successful. He would have been 19 and 0 at Wrestlemania and a 20 time WWE champion. He would have been Vince's right hand man. The most lauded superstars today are the ones who Kiss Vince's ass. Here they are: Edge, Undertaker, CM Punk, Cena, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold, the Rock, Jericho, and Orton. Yep you read correctly. SC and CM are on the list. Although their characters hated Vince, in real life their lips are on Vince's ass.

  • @jfearless1 I would kiss my boss' ass for a higher paycheck. Your queer..

  • @RockAustinDXtakerRk0 You realize you didnt make any sense right? You just said you would kiss your boss' ass for a higher paycheck and then you said your queer. You spelled your wrong by the way. It should have been spelled You're. If by you calling me queer you mean I am strange than I thoroughly agree. However, if you are implying that I am a homosexual than I totally disagree.

  • @jfearless1 Haha, lol, I must've been trolling last night. Made a typo. Yeah "you're". And I'm pretty good with literature.

Btw, we could get along great, I like to be different aswell. Blending into the circle these days is so mainstream.

But, yeah, I would definitely suck upto my boss to get paid higher. And I don't mean "suck up" literally.

  • @RockAustinDXtakerRk0 You're good with literature or good with grammar? They're two different things and listing literature doesn't make sense.

  • @theoracle8191 A major conjunction within Literal Arts is grammar.

  • @joekoe97 thats the bobby heenan story, if it came from the brain then its full of crap, he never liked warrior

  • @darkfallenangel23 I know he never liked Warrior but he's one of many. Many wrestlers, including ones not featured on "The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" claim that he didn't give a damn about wrestlers in the ring he fought against and hurt people somewhat similar to Goldberg, only Goldberg would do it by accident, while Warrior wanted to show off. I've never met Warrior and probably never will but when this many people talk bad about him something's going on.

  • @joekoe97

Come on man. Warrior and Vince have been suing each other for 20 years. That video is well known for being a Vince McMahaon smear operation, to take a cheap shot at the guy.

All it was, was everyone on Vince's payroll, talking trash about the guy for a few hours!

  • @PacquiaoEPO Despite that fact you can't ignore it completely. People have had very bad opinions of him for years and if you read into stories and fan accounts from various wrestlers you'll find all sorts of bad stuff about him. Type in "Ultimate Warrior jerk" on google and see how many hits you get from people recounting their experiences.

  • @joekoe97 ok

  • @joekoe97 Bobby Heenan told that story

  • @joekoe97 I wouldn't believe everything Bobby heenan says..he likes to milk things a little

  • @GodHimself76 Yeah but the problem is there are so many negative stories like that about Warrior that it's stupid to say that McMahon was just sending people out to say bad things about him. I can also believe it from Heenan because Andre hated Warrior with a passion but kept wrestling him because it always sold well and Andre liked making money.

  • As a child, I believed Andre the Giant was an un - earthly mass too prodigious to hoist. When Hogan slammed Andre at WM3, it shook my world - I was confounded that someone was capable of such an inhuman feat. As I grew and attained wisdom; I found out that Hogan picked up Andre many times before WM3, to my further astonishment, not only did the Hulk weild the behemoth but a multitude and some better than he - Andre was some SLAM WHORE being heaved nightly for monetary gain.

  • @NexusViperX, well, not too little. The themes can be of a strong and mature nature. For example, many of the Divas like Stephanie often appeared too scantily dressed.

  • @NexusViperX, how they still draw fans is amazing to me.

  • Back then people could use steroids lol

  • @irecatori

they were use it so many decade before.. and they use it again today

  • @irecatori back then?

  • @NexusViperX, and that is exactly the problem. All the best stuff is gone. In some odd way, I cannot understand why the business is even around anymore.

  • @NexusViperX, I can understand. Even Hogan turned heel at times, attacking guys like Warrior! He actually pinned him at Halloween Havoc.

The old school style is just better. If it were still like this, I would watch much more often. I rarely do anymore.

  • @NexusViperX, yes, he does deserve a position there. His contribution to the WWF was astounding. I never liked him in the beginning. (It stunned me that he was not actually a heel; he just seemed villainous at times.) However, when he began to mellow out, I began to favor him more. I had simply cheered for the other guys, including athletes such as The Earthquake and The Undertaker, both of whom I felt were stronger and more skillful, anyway. Still, Warrior was truly a babyface in the end.

  • @NexusViperX, yes, I, too, think of Australian when I hear the word "dingo." The name "Ultimate Warrior" was much better. It sold more tickets and elevated the overall prestige of the WWF. Warrior was also amazing when he appeared as a very special guest on shows such as "Arsenio" and "Regis and Kathy Lee" back in the 90s. I bet he captured new followers by winning the hearts of wrestling fans who may not necessarily have liked him at the beginning. It was a great time for the WWF universe.

  • andre was much smaller then

  • wweisthemostfuneisthen

  • andre forgot warrior bounced off 2 ropes before big splash lol

  • Ultimate Steroids ..

  • In warriors dvd it was said that Andre hated wrestling with him and when Warrior ran the ropes Andre was actually trying to hit him

  • You know most of the crap said in that DVD was just made up to discredit Jim Hellwig.

Vince was going to do exactly the same to Bret Hart if he hadn't agreed to do anything with Vince in making the Hitman DVD.

It was only because Hellwig refused to be part of anything involving Vince McMahon that led Vince putting out that DVD with everyone Sh!tting on Warrior, if he had agreed to do it, it would've been presented in a more positive way like Bret's DVD was.

  • @TheThotPran You took the words right out of my mouth. You are 100% dead on.

  • when hogan picked him up, hulk hogan said he was never the same, he tore his muscle, and his back,,,, yet ultamate warrior picked him up like nothin, and had no injuries

  • @JOKAWILD26 All it takes is one time picking up something regardless of size to really screw up your back. Hulk I guess just had bad luck or lifted Andre the wrong way or maybe even he had stressed his muscles with repeated matches and slamming Andre was just the giant that broke the camels back so to speak.

  • @papillonaquatique you also have to remember not all his back problems are from slamming andre because hogan even admitted that andre jumped so hogan could scoop him up for the slam . but yes slamming him down did mess his back up but not as much as he says he claim it pulled every muscle in his back but had that heppened he wouldnt have walked away from the match by himself the pain would have been to much when he walking and his back would have given out on him while walking

  • @JOKAWILD26 it could be because of what Ganjazombie2 said that Hogan was picking Andre up on more than one occasion. we really don't know if Warrior didn't suffer any injuries. This is the first time I have heard that Hogan said he suffered injuries.

  • Andre gave Warrior a break. He could have just fallen on him to get the pin "clean."

  • @sandinyourshoes Actually, it was Warrior who gave Andre a break. Andrea was already suffering from Cardiomyopathy and he was growing uncontrollably. Doctors told him not to wrestle anymore, but it was the only way he could make a living.

  • @Naturalhit, yes, Warrior was giving him a break in the sense that he kept Andre’s name in lights due to the fact that both wrestled each other. Other than that, he was overdoing his part during the matches, attacking the Giant constantly from behind, and annoying him in the process.

It is true that Andre was just not in good shape, according to A&E’s Biography. Nevertheless, the Giant pinned Dingo Warrior clean in a house match in Italy, an impressive feat for a man who was past his prime.

  • @sandinyourshoes If you go to TMS Forum and look the Giant's History match no where did it show him ever wrestling Jim Helwig as the Dingo Warrior. Andre was mostly WWF. He did start off wrestling in Japan and then he joined IWE and later AWA and in '73 he was in WWF till he passed away in '93. I have that A&E Biography and WWE video of him.

Warrior is a high impact wrestler. He body slam Andre a number of times. I think in all they had a total of 7 matches and only 1 was broadcast.

  • @Naturalhit, I guess the Dingo bit went back perhaps too far. Still, Andre did pin Warrior clean.

  • @sandinyourshoes But Warrior didn't start till '86 where he was Blade Runner Rock along with his partner Sting. When he went to WCCW. in 87 he was Dingo, he partnered up with Lance Von Erich. He later went to WWF he was Dingo on his first match which wasn't televise. Vince changed his Dingo into Ultimate Warrior. So no were is Andre even a part of his matches.

If you have that source PM it to me.

  • @Naturalhit, which source?

  • @Naturalhit, I guess the Dingo stuff was brief. A name change would be needed. "Dingo" sounded like a name the critics would change to "dingbat."

  • GREAT WRESTLING MOMENT, shitty camera :(

  • Is he gonna PICK HIM UP...... classic

  • ANIMAL

  • this is fake

  • yes look at 0:01 , the ultimate warriore says to andré the giant to counter the splash intro a big foot !!!!

  • @iFreNZyTM

    Herp a derp

  • @SolidMike84 no charlie NNNNOOoooOOoooOOOO

  • @iFreNZyTM

    "I was frozen today!"

  • @iFreNZyTM, yes, there was much rehearsed material, being it was a TV show like any other. Still, injuries, tempers, and doing things by surprise were often quite real.

  • I didn't know that the ultimate warrior body slam andre the giant

  • Fuck the Ultimate Warrior, he's a fuckin prick!

  • I love the fact that the Andre didn't take it lightly and attempt to punch Warrior'

s family jewel and even give Warrior a huge kick in the abs!

  • At the very start of the video, is Warrior saying "watch my face"? Not sure...

  • @rockheadrocks The warrier says; 'Hit me and move away'!

  • I heard that the Warrior crapped himself right at the moment that he lifted up Andre and slammed him. They ended the match soon after that cause of the shit stink coming from the Warrior.

  • Comment removed

  • poor andre worked past he's prime

  • Who slammed Andre first hulk or the warrior?

  • @Colij84 Hulk at wm3 this was sometime after summerslam 88

  • Ultimate Warrior was overrated. He would run in, slam the enemy, bounce off the ropes and pin them.

  • @RichardCannonwalker

Unlike Stone Cold Steve Austin who would run in, stunner... and pin them...

  • If it wasnt a fucking set up, He wouldnt have been

  • This isn't wrestling this is fucking acting and also when wrestlers (actors) get hurt they just fucking stay down on the floor. I have had a fight with this kid at school and he ragged me down to the floor and started kicking me but then i got back up grabbed his neck got him up against a walll hit him in the face got him down to the floor and started pounding his face in. My result were badly bruised ribs. His result were a cut cheek with bad swelling and bruising.

  • @164raptor

    Do you want an award?

  • @164raptor When wrestlers get hurt/injured they work the rest of the match unless they can't physically move. This isn't some mickey mouse high school fight, these guys are trained professionals and while they might not be the best fighters in the world, they're the toughest and bravest people you could ever meet.

Guys like Perry Saturn, Bam Bam Bigelow and Buddy Rose are all real life heroes. Among the many others in the business.

  • @164raptor How did this all start Prince164raptor? Were you two crappin' at the same time as he stole the toilet paper under your stall? Did he try to capture the princess!!? Is the princess okay!!!?

  • @164raptor So you're gonna be main eventing UFC next month right?

  • @164raptor That was like the dumbest thing Ive ever read in my life!

  • @164raptor you're wrong it's not acting they hurt each other many times sure most of the things are coordinated but tempers flare!

  • at the first part of the video is warrior have a message for andre to have a counter?

  • Warrior wanted to finish the match in 10 seconds like most of his wrestling matches, including his match with the Honky Tonk Man for the Intercontinental championship in 1988 at WWE Summerslam and his match with Triple H in 1996 at WWE Wrestlemania. Tony Schiavone is one of the greatest announcers in wrestling history. He announced this match. These days he is working in an MLB minor league. It will be great to see him back in wrestling where he belongs!

  • @DrKevKangs most of warriors matches were about 5-10 minutes long his big matches were usualyy 30 minutes the idea that warriors matches were shorter than anyone else in the wwf at the time is a myth

  • @4180stephen Yes I know. I was angry because of the declaration he did about Hulk Hogan.Hogan use to be one of my favorite wrestlers.I also mention that issue based on the DVD about the Warrior's destruction that the WWE did a couple of years ago.

  • Look kids, if you do enough steroids, you can slam Andre the Giant and make tons of cash with almost no recourse whatsoever. WWF and their positive messages

  • andre tried to punch warrior on the first hurdle and then tried to kick him on the splash. warrior worked too stiff and andre hated him for it.

  • @SaRaPaFo yeah it looks like andre tried hitting jim..im sorry warrior in the nuts! warrior couldn't slow down and work a match if he wanted to. i know i know its his gimmick. he'd potato guys hard and hurt people sometimes. dude just couldn't work a match well but made up for it i suppose in charisma (well sold tons of toys/shirts)

  • The hell is Schiavone there for?

  • @frythedeliveryguy He commentated for WWF for a little while before he went to WCW.

  • @frythedeliveryguy Tony Shiavone worked with the Crocketts since the 1970's in the NWA that then became known as the WCW, he joined the WWF for about two years doing his comments on all WWE pay per views and several programs except for the Wrestlemanias that were covered by the late Gorrilla Monsoon. Then he joined WCW until 2001.Now he works in Georgia with one of MLB minor leagues as an announcer.

  • Looking at this years after the fact, this really illustrates what a bad worker the Warrior was at this point. Bearhug and blatantly calls a sport on camera, gets hit and doesn't sell it, goes right into the bodyslam with no build-up or warning so the cameraman can't catch it...then tries the Big Splash and miscommunicates with Andre so the foot misses. Back then I couldn't tell the difference, but wow.

  • It would have been cool if he did the gorilla press!

  • andre alloud him? uhmm wtf? oh like you mean cause he didint resist when he was picked up?? if it was like that then wrestling would be entertaining sure its fake today but still :p its cool watching a little dude pick up sum guy that weighs half a ton i love watching john cena do that shit its freaking awesome

  • @ExplictLyrics16 sry 500 lb is not half a ton lol

  • @Anaxagoran he was obviously confusing lbs with kgs

  • @ExplictLyrics16 Yea i see your a 10 year old who sucks John Cena's Cock thats why Cm Punk is here to end PG Era

  • @PoptartFail uhm........wow you dont know me at all im actually 16 ill be 17 in september.....and im straight i have a girlfriend and we have been together almost a year now ive known her for like 5 years we always been close so why the hell are you calling me a 10 year old..john cena is a beast you need to relize that and in real life he would beat the fuck outta half the wrestlers he actually fights on the show..god damn...idc if its fake its entertainment people pay n see that shit you douche

  • @ExplictLyrics16 Not dissing u but john cena admitted that he's not the best fighter in real life, he's got no history etc of ever fighting, its actually guys like jericho who once punked out goldberg and people u wouldn't expect to be good fighters ya know, like booker t once kicked batista's ass.

  • hulk hogan did it for rea; and was the first bitch

  • The slam was not supposed to happen, andre hated working with warrior and i guess warrior had a hurt back, so when he was slammed it pissed andre off thats why he acted like he did on his back.

  • @GoingYard7 Of course it was supposed to happen. It doesn't matter who you are, you aren't getting Andre up and over like that if he wasn't allowing you to do it, he just wasn't expecting Warrior to hit the ropes a 2nd time

  • OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

  • Son of a bitch!!!!!!

  • this is fucking impressive. but andre kinda fucked up by trying to stop the splah ( grabbing his leg and lifting up his foot)

  • can you say ..... Botchamania ..... he clearly tells him his next move ..... look at TUW mouth ... next stop ...... everybody talk to much!

  • funny how Hogan always hurts his back on slams...but the Warrior just rises like a beast and pounds his chest
