not true.. my buddy has a 90 tsi with a stock 14b on 10 psi 2 higher than stock 8 psi and he is even with my buddy who has a 92 tsi with a big 16g at 15 psi with a crepp to 18 psi.. same TD05H housing just different wheels.. the housing is flow limited and all the b16g does is take longer to spool by a couple hundred rpms

yeh 5 speed 1g's came with the 14b and the autos came with the 13g,I got an auto i just pulled a 13g out of and am putting a small 16g in;]

16G is an evo turbo... Came out later on. The 1Gs have 14Bs stock, the 2Gs have Garrett T-25's.

not true either.. a reversed style 16g is on the new evo.. all evos before had a dsm style 16g hence the evo 3 16g is a direct bolt on for dsms.. and the 1g manual have 14bs.. auto 13gs

Ok, so I'm trying to make sense of this. Alright, the DSMs (non evos) don't have 16G turbos, the 1Gs have 14Bs and 2Gs have the Garrett T25s. Yes, the 16Gs are a straight bolt on since the Evos have a 4G63 engine until 2007 when they changed to the 4B11T.

they dont have 16g turbos STOCK.. they are aftermarket turbos, 16gs, 18gs and 20gs still in the TD05H housing and direct bolt on fitment for the dsms.. the evo 8 and 9 it is a 16g but it is an inverted 16g as the 4g63 was inverted as well.. evo 8 and 9 16gs will fit on the dsm mani but all the intake plumbing is opposite, custom dp is needed and the intercooler piping will need to be custom

ok look u said that a 16g was an evo turbo, which isnt entirely true.. yes it was a 4g63 in the evo until 07 but remember that the 63 engine was inverted in the evo 8 and so was the turbo.. mitsubishi has some 16gs that were stock on the evos such as the popular evo 3 16g, but there are small and big 16gs as well, then 18gs and 20gs all in the same housing... 16g isnt only an evo turbo.. evo 8 and 9 turbos arent good choices for the dsm cars as you need to clokc the turbo and do custom ex work

i didnt no that, i thought the evo 8 has a 16g (td05hr) and the evo 9 also have a 16g (td05hra) and thats true, its possible to put evo 8 or 9 turbos on a dsm but it would be kind of expensive becuase u would have to re arrange everything such as the alternator and powersteering. so it would be better off getting an ebo3 16g.

and there is no freakin way that a stock tsi awd would keep up with a 16g gst. especially from the rolls. the tsi would have it from the dig until i'd guess 2nd whenever the eclipse spooled and flew past him.
