  • This is by far my favoite rifle in the world. They are so easy to fire and everytime it goes ping my heart melts.

  • Your videos are interesting but too bad they're too short :(

  • @lemaure44 from call of duty? Ha

  • i love the "ping"

  • I prefere SVT 40.

  • And I want one of those so fucking bad.

  • why does it make the DING sound?

  • @nerfguns25 Why don't you do a little research instead of asking the same damn question on multiple videos?

  • @nerfguns25 The ting is just the noise the clip makes when it ejects. Simple as that. If you tossed an empty clip against a hard wall it'll make the same noise. It isn't the rifle, it's all in the clip.

  • is that a rebuild rifle? meaning did you take parts and build it?

either way it's a great looking world war two example

  • do they make new ones or is that why they are hard to procure? if not i think they should eveyone says they are great guns to own

  • @TheAlexagius The only company I've seen making them lately is Springfield Armory but they always seem to be out of stock and are no cheaper than a surplus Garand.

  • @TheAlexagius

Google "CMP" and you'll find lots ranging from brand new Special Grade (where a new stock, barrel, and sometimes trigger assembly are the new bits) or what they call Field Grade (the lowest and least expensive grade). I have a special. :)

  • @TheAlexagius Not too hard to get, just a matter of how much you want to spend. Got to this site and find a location near you. thecmp.org

  • @TheAlexagius Look up the CMP Civilian marksmanship program, If you meet some simple criteria they will sell you a milsurp M1 for about $600. The best deal in guns.

  • Potentially the best gun ( and sound "ping!" =3 ) in the world

  • My ROTC unit trains with m1 garands. I remember one year a freshman got m1 thumb... It was at a drill meet, and I had to fill in for him. It's not pretty, almost had taken the whole thumb off. Poor kid.

  • Wish I could find one of these in Canada with wood stock.

  • From this angle that thing looks mint.

  • It's got very little wear. It was likely refurbished in the 50's or 60's given the condition of the finish and pristine barrel.

  • @DrakeGmbH Dont you just love the PING?

  • Best Simi-Auto rifle made during WWII. In my opinion. :D

  • @Japacanadian I completly agree

  • @Japacanadian i think the svt 40 and gewher 43 give th m 1 a run for its money

  • @akdude182 considering they both carry 10 round box magazines, sure they did. HOWEVER the m1 never went up against the svt 40. (unless you talk about the korean war or vietnam where it may have been used)

personally, i will always prefer the M1 over all others.
