It's because of the fabric of her robe. We have two cats and they do the exact same thing to that kind of fabric. It must be a kitty favorite. Either that or they're just checking our internal organs for weakness.

My cat does this when I wear my dressing gown and it HURTS! They dig their claws right in. He's doing it for selfish reasons too. My guess would be because this is what he knows to do to his kitty mummy to get milk and he's hungry so trying it on me when I wear my 'fur'. This is nothing special to a cat owner.
