I first read about the CB1300 Super Four years ago. It was on the Honda World News page dated Jan. 30, 2003;"Honda Announces a Full Model Change for the CB1300 SUPER FOUR Large-Displacement Road Sports Bike". Unfortunately neither that bike nor it's "SUPER BOLD'OR version, have ever been offered here in the U.S.A. It's a shame that true bikes like it, and the discontinued CB1000, aren't available here. I always admired the '94-'95 CB1000 unpretentious looks and solid perfomance and reliability.
If Honda were to bring them in they would ensure it met all NHTSA, DOT, & EPA requirements & certifications. The CB 1300 SUPER Four & SUPER BOLD'OR are the next generation of the discontinued CB1000. That model was hugely popular in both Japan & Europe but not the U.S.;it was the 600 class. I'm quite sure if Honda believed there was large enough demand they would bring this motorcycle to the U.S. Market. Japan DomMkt MSRP is Yen 1,218,000 = $12719.29 at current exchange rate of Yen 100 = $1.04
@IWANTALEXUS Now I understand why this bike isn't sold here in the U.S. I'm kind of interested in this bike since I saw it in a Japanese movie. Thanks for explaining the CB1300's reason, for not being sold in the U.S.
