Ah, listen to that drippy dew hitting the top of your screen tent. The sounds of camping. Hey, sometimes the fun of camping is improvising with what you have to make up for what you forgot. Or going to the local town works, too.

In about four months I hope we will be doing it all again, and I won't mind forgetting a couple of things... I'm thinking of visiting campgrounds where we have never been before this year in order to have some new and surprising experiences :)

@fehquig I'm lookin forward to mid june when I will depart Ont for NL via Trans Labrador Highway. GREAT DRIVE. If you like wilderness camping-and I do-it's just thousand of KM of virtual wilderness and you camp wherever you feel like it.

No matter what you pack there will be something that you forgot. I remember starting out on a trip once six times because I kept remembering something to bring before I got to the point of no return :)

It would probably stick to the lid but I doubt if it'd fall through. Boiling water poured over the egg in the plastic cup, poached egg. Bacon on a stick.

I like that boiling water with the egg in the plastic cup idea... Maybe we'll try it this year. There is only one problem with that idea and the things that we had on hand before going to the store... You need something to boil the water in :)

i know when mike or orion cooks i make a face at him that resembles the face miss c makes at you. yes i appreciate the effort but it lacks in what i would consider to be good ;) last week when i was sick the boys made me a pistachio pudding that i would only give to orions dad (not even would i give the rest to the dogs) it was ucky. i have no idea what the made it with... i ended up faking eating it and tossed it out. shh please do not tell :)

Darnit, the car I gave to my mother had those... Cindy's van has mag wheels and my car has those fake-o deluxo spoked wheels that are supposed to look upscale and classy in a 1970s American kind of way that doesn't fool anyone LOL They go well with the vinyl top and the red velour brothel interior with fake wood accents... Can you tell I love my pretentious car?

Last time I slept in a tent it was with 15 other boys... it was rather spoilt when the Sergeant threw a smoke greanade inside it and shouted 'enemy attack'! :)
