First i want to sincerely thank all of the troops that are fightng or have fought. i want to thank the men and women of this country that we live in that are serving right now. Its funny how you cant imagine the kind of sacrifice they give. Im 24 about to be 25 but i feel like i get at least a little sense of what kind of work being a soldier is. Its like he says "oh and i dont want to die for you, but if dying asked of me..." that is the ultimate sacrifice besides what Jesus did for us thank u!

Another way to look at this question is to ask yourself this: "Is it possible to wage the current Bush war without the troops?" If the answer is "no," then you don't support the troops.

End the illegal occupation in Iraq. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Iraq has never threatened our national security. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 either. Why must so many innocent civillians die in this stupid war? I didn't like Saddam, but Iraq was much better under Saddam's regime than Bush's regime.

My Father was in Vietnam and when he came back from a place he had to fight in regaurdless if he didnt want to, he still fought and did his job. He lost a lot of friends and when he came home after risking his life, he was spit at and called a traitor!!!!! A traitor?????

For all of you who put down the military because you dont agree with Bush or the war, think of this; What would happen if they were not here? Would you sleep peaceful at night? Would you feel safe? Or would you want to talk arabic or face a nuclear bomb? Would you want to see your childrens blood spilled all over the streets? Regaurdless if you agree or disagree with this war, if it was not for The American Soldiers protecting our freedoms of speech, you would not be able to write your opinions as you are able too on here. If all of our military were to just quit, we would be sitting ducks for terrorists, other countries who hate us and wish to destroy us. These men and women go out and leave thier children and families behind, risking thier own lives, even if they dont agree with the war. They still do thier job.

The war in Iraq is political. Soldiers are not fighting for our freedoms, they are fighting for the oil companies and the elite. Invading a country based on lies has nothing to do with freedom nor democracy.
