I was running B's and C's (near the back unfortunately!),when Colin Donelly was taking Billy's crown,and also a certain Keith Anderson,was running or did he fly?,thats how it looked to me...nevertheless,all outstanding athletes,and a privilege to share the same field as them, albeit miles behind....

Billy Bland was dishing out drinks at various places on the course supporting his club at Duddon. We interviewed him as he held the course record. He cycled between the different road check points.
