I don't like music that is full of negative messages, and Arabic music though sometimes full of sadness and longing, is at least describing the human condition honestly without sending negative messages to people!

I enjoy Arabic music although in some countries, it's about dreams where there is oppression and repression of natural male/female interaction, in many the lifestyle is very modern. The themes are common to all human hearts. In the US there is too much openness regarding human sexuality and thus no respect for women... and this trickles down into very negative messages in music and very bad behaviour.
