That time the security company I was with rented showers....children's showers. I'm 6'8" and while blind and unable to breathe put my face under water in a concrete cubicle so small i couldn't fit my shoulders through. First time I've ever felt claustrophobic. Then one of the friendly guards behind be tried to be helpful and pushed my head in the water...sorry buddy

@itaxit It is case specific. The military cannot deny you if you are medically cleared to conduct all of the requirements of the job. You would need a signed statement from your doctor verifying that your asthma will not prevent you from completing the requirements of the Army. Additionally, you may be medical evaluated by the Army. Don't let your condition stop you or make you afraid to try.. Talk to a recruiter and try to get medically cleared. The worst they can do is say no right? Good luck.

You dont cry like a bitch and ask for your inhaler. Somehow I dont think he is actually IN the US Army/Natnl Guard. When I served, you wouldnt have been able to get IN if you needed an inhaler.

@itaxit It is case specific. The military cannot deny you if you are medically cleared to conduct all of the requirements of the job. You would need a signed statement from your doctor verifying that your asthma will not prevent you from completing the requirements of the Army. Additionally, you may be medical evaluated by the Army. Don't let your condition stop you or make you afraid to try.. Talk to a recruiter and try to get medically cleared. The worst they can do is say no right? Good luck.

@Paragalor You must really have no idea the hell pepper spray is. You don't even have to be sprayed in the face to feel the effects. The burning of the skin and the eyes are second, the worst part is that it greatly impedes breathing because your throat swells.
I've only been sprayed once, but it was on the face like this dude. This guy took the pain like a champ.
