What I don't get about The Trap Door is this; the trap door was supposed to lead to a realm full of terrifying Lovecraftian horrors. But the creatures that came out seemed to be at worst minor inconveniences; like this episode where something comes out and eats all the pies and that's basically it, and then something else that gets scared away by a mirror.

Not exactly the stuff of Cthulhu-inspired nightmares.

Wow I'm really happy to have found this. The Trap Door was also shown in France and I loved it. "Berk" means "Eewww" in French so it really suited the monster theme.
