Excellent review vid. I agree the first DIE HARD is an action classic. But I did like DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE (as you said the storyline was well thought-out). But with the R rated LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD you are absolutely right in that, incredibly, this is a film worthy of the original! BTW we know this here as DIE HARD 4.0 (how's that for originality?) - but at least it's the uncut version, not the PG-13 edit.
I suppose we are, but you'll find the international release versions are generally uncut - films tend to be cut to a PG-13 (if would have been an R) or cut to an R (if would have been NC-17) only in the US. The international versions are in a lot of instances the original edits.
