hi, i'm sicilian and it's actually VERY similar to standard italian: english: i want something to eat. italian: voglio qualcosa da mangiare. sicilian: vogghiu qualchi cosa di manciari. where is my dog? dov'è andato il mio cane? unni si n'ìo miu canni? my sister is beautiful. mia sorella è bella. me soru è bedda. sicilian and italian are very similar, because it is a southern dialects.  the NORTHERN dialects are A LOT more different.
