I've used this phone and it is FREAKING FAST! No hitch! No slow down! Nothing at all. Just browsing through and jumping from menu to menu easily and smoothly! :)
Cmon guys, why would you compare this phone to your iPhone/G1? It just doesn't make sense. The screen is much smaller and the hardware looks so much different. Some people just prefer the look of this phone regardless the screen size..
Such a shame that the Agora and Agora Pro were canceled, 'cause I remember reading about this at the time and I was planning to buy 1-2 of them...
Love the mini "slide-out" menu and the way it still leaves part of the background visible - it's different, but in a nice, unique sorta way.

I'm more interested in the App shown at the 32 second mark. It sure looks like Google Earth, which is available for iPhone.
If it IS Google Earth, I wonder why it hasn't been released for the G1 yet????

The truth is out there.

That silver border looks like absolute shit. I hope that they're not seriously considering releasing it like that. Failboatery.

It looks like it has a resistive touch screen though.

I love everything large.

The screen could be larger I guess if they didn't have that fat mirror border..

I'm glad I ordered this phone. Looking very very nippy.

looks pretty cool, I'll keep my iphone for now.. but if the music player works well and the build quality is good I'd give one a try, why not eh?

screen is smaller than G1...

It appears to be quicker than my G1. It's weird that the program menu slideout is at the side and not the bottom. Cool..

not bad, im already content with my G1, something about the name Agora is just awesome lol

I agree with you. That screen is too small. Can't beat my G1 :)

The price can though :P
The G1 was not worth the price in the end, its specs are nothing to wow about. Just that it ran Android was the reason its popular.

Blackberry look out eh? Good to see an Aussie pioneer in the Android arena.

It's got a nice qwerty keypad and still is a huge screen for those types of phones. I'd take it over an iphone any day. :)
