I've been plucking my eyelashes since I was a child. I hide behind eyeliner and it becomes depressing. Right now, I have only 4 strands on each eye. It's been awhile and they won't grow.
Thanks you for your story, It´s pretty much like mine. I guess i´m going to do my own video coz´ it couldn´t find many videos in my language. Thank you.
thanks for posting this, ive been suffering from it too but you really explain it well, ive gotten treatment for it and i do think with a lot of support we can overcome this:)
Wow your life must be so hard. You know pulling out your hair can really put your life at risk. I love how you people like to say "suffering" as if your life may end in the next 3 months...
@Dominuette Thanks.. For your information it makes our lives hell. Socially, mentally, physically, spiritually. I may not have it as bad as others but i think i speak for all trich SUFFERERS when I say your sarcasm is not appreciated. If you had a mental disorder and I threw it in your face you wouldnt appreciate it. I never said my life was ending. So fuck off.
@nicholh001 If had this disorder I would not be making videos crying out for attention. I would appreciate the fact that I'm alive. Looking at most of these videos related to Trich., you all look perfectly normal. I would otherwise not even know you had this disorder. I just think that in the bigger picture there are much worse things that others go through...
@Dominuette Trust me when I say I KNOW there are worse things to go through. I have been through worse. And you dont see me on here complaining about that. Im on here trying to help other people who dont know what to do. Most people dont know this exists. Im spreading awareness. And no, it doesnt look normal, have you seen people who have to wear wigs? Your ignorance astounds me. People with any kind of disorder need a community. Need help and need to know theyre not alone. Thats what im doiing.
Hi Heather, I've had trich my whole life and I just turned 50 and only started talking openly about 2 months ago. It's helping and the videos all the others with this condition have made makes all the difference in the world. Yesterday I bought a top with very long sleves and sewed them shut and I will make myself wear it while reading or watching TV. We'll see if it helps. Your story is very similar to mine and I just wanted to say thank you. You are very pretty and very brave, an inspiration.
@mrsellymae , i am ten years old my name is Rachel and i have trich.my dad passed it down to me and i have been searching up and down for a cure. i was wondering if you, or anyone else reading this knew an easy cure?? please tell me guys anything will help!!
@boonaga911 I've had some stress lately and find myself pulling. The things that help me are; keeping everything low key, NO DRAMA. Also, I've been on Paxil for a while and that helps, but not everyone can take that med. A natural cure that help a little is B-complex drops that you put under your tongue. I also have a soft longsleeve top that has the arms sewn shut for when I'm reading or watching TV,( makes it hard to pull ), Mostly talking about and being open it helps the most.
i admire you very much! ive done this for 8 years and finally had the right amount of determination, (if thats the right word?) to stop. i find it incredibly difficult to speak to anyone about it, and that is why i admire you so much! to get over this, when i feel the urge, i massage the tips and my fingers, then the urge goes. its early days yet, but the last time i pulled was nearly a week ago. it works for me :-)
Awesome video. You're very beautiful and brave for speaking out. Very few people have that sort of strength in them. You might not notice, but your video is really making a difference.
