Respect for all Balkan people, brave and talented. Together you were a threat for the owners of the world. Long life to the Yugoslavic spirit, to Kusturica, to Bregovic and all the ambassadors of the Balkan art around the world.
Vrlo dobar film, jedan iz nalboljih što uznam.Ovo možno uvidet libo raz i svaki put njego čovek volit bude.Ja njego video još 6 puta celi a njegove fragmente nespočetno više raz. Muzika takže fantastička,kao u svih filmova Kusturici.Pozdrav iz Češke
One of the best movies and so much reality behind the irony. I miss those times before the whole thing ended in war and tragedy. Democracy itself is much more restrictive and "choking" than what we had in Yugoslavia and it's all about buying and selling, no real life envolved. No fun at all. I miss what we had in Yugoslavia and I would change at once those little political freedom they say we didn't have for all the other freedoms we had and we don't have anymore. Greetings from Slovenia.
@hybaj thanks for the compliment. Maybe it was hell in the countries controlled by Soviet Union but I think we had it quite nice in Yugoslavia. Only a few gained something from democracy and capitalism, most people didn't. But of course the economy we had was a disaster and it couldn't last forever...
@pmarko1 go and find a different planet for your silly utopia.... the human nature is not compatible with communism nor corporatism.... it's been proven 1000 times over and over again...
@hybaj well my friend, if human mind is not compatible with corporatism then we all have to find a different planet since corporatism was and is (mis)used by so many political systems and by most religions (Christianity included). And guess what, I think it can work pretty well - just go check how they use it in Sweden for example... And start reading the Bible...
@pmarko1 hahah Sweden is not even by far anything like communist Yugoslavia .... Sweden would be nowhere without the inventions of other capitalist nations.. socialism can only parasite on capitalist intentions... and Bible is not socialistic at all ... give to caesar what is caesar's and god what is gods.. you have no freaking idea what are you talking about my dear communist so really.. find a different planet where people don't share the same human-nature as we people on earth do..
@hybaj really? I suggest you check again. You were talking about corporatism and I just told you that you can find corporatism in most religions and in many political systems - Sweden has one of it where corporatism is very well incorporated. And by the way, your view of democracy is very odd - only those sharing your view have the right to be a part of the system while a communist should leave the planet. And you call that a human nature. It's very human I must say.
I agree with you. This is a great movie. Democracy has became very restrictive and it is all about selling and buying. I'm from Portugal and it is the same here. No fun at all.
