  • haha you dont have to use this old method. its LASIK and leves a scar tissue to the eye. I used the newer method CTEN. ITs more expensive and not many use it yet and stil provide only this crappy method. Instead of this choppin mehtod, CTEN works the outer layer only, like filing an egg shell. IT heals slower, but you will be alot happier with no scar tissue and reduce the risk of having dreye eyes unlike wiht this surgery.

  • yeah Im not about to do that ill stick with glasses or contacts

  • i had lasik 4 days ago. everything went well! though hazy, my vision was immediately clear. achieved 20/20 and was able to drive the next day.

  • Contact lenses, people, they're called contact lenses.

  • @phillyguy95

contact lenses are your eyes worst enemies. Had them for years. If you wear them daily yr eyes will finally be damaged and veins start to develop which affect yr eyesight

  • I recommend all of you to look up natural eye improvement before considering this surgery.

  • im sick of glasses i want this done

  • Im gonna relax and do this

  • its like in minority report when tom cruise is gonna have his eyes removed O_O

  • ya'll need to se final destination 5

  • they pretty much cut you eye with a laser. if your not dumb, you can tell that can cause a lot of problems. sorry, but im sticking to my glasses.

  • Everyone who needs this and is scared, DONT BE.

I want to get this surgery because im tired of wearing glasses, there's nothing wrong with it but the frame gets in the way.

The surgery is very safe, there's like a .3 percent chance that something will go wrong and it will only go wrong due stupidity LOL.

Takes less than 5 minutes and takes about a month to get 20/20 vision.

For now though, since i dont have that much money, im sticking to glasses.

    ^_^

  • yeah... i think im gonna stick to my semi blurry vision/glasses eue

  • You may not drive... EVER?

  • @xTHExFALLx After the surgery. You can't drive after any surgery.

  • @PinkBob88

    Not EVER after the surgery!?

  • @xTHExFALLx Not until you heal up

  • @PinkBob88

    "Heal"? What is this?

  • @xTHExFALLx You may not ever drive. EVER.

  • @PinkBob88

    Fuck! I knew it!

  • @xTHExFALLx THEY'RE TRYING TO DESTROY THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY! ELIMINATING ONE DRIVER AT A TIME

  • @PinkBob88

All this conspiracy is making me so hot!! :0

    /watch?v=RbBDQKfQOW0

  • @xTHExFALLx Oh god WHAT?

  • @PinkBob88

    YOU HEARD ME, LOVER BOY.

  • This woman has a robotic psychological torture voice!

  • AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

  • 95% of people are satisfied with results. If you're considering this MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH AND LOOK UP THE BEST DOCTORS (I'm considering going to the same two doctors that did Kim Kardashians Lasik and Tiger Woods Lasik) get involved and research the best and do a THOROUGH eye consultation. Lasik isn't for people who have dried eyes and are prone to eye infections constantly.

  • The voice sounds pissed off.

  • im staying with glasses almost my whole family wears them

if this happens to me i hope they put me to sleep if it works

p.s i know this pisture of an eye inside and out i also know what the thing that makes the tears looks like and who it works

oh my god they slice ur eye 20%...agh!!!!

  • @supermario268 it can be done without slicing your eye as you said but it can be more expensive i wonder though if it is more or less effective.

  • @supermario268 20% of the Cornea, not your eye.

  • im staying with glasses almost my whole family wears them

if this happens to me i hope they put me to sleep if it works

p.s i know this pisture of an eye inside and out i also know what the thing that makes the tears looks like and who it works

  • im staying with glasses almost my whole family wears them

if this happens to me i hope they put me to sleep if it works

  • im staying with glasses almost my whole family wears them

  • can this surgery be used for a lazy eye??????

  • ouch!,,,,,,,,,,,! ugh.... XP

  • I'll stick to wearing glasses...

  • @CptnAura Me too.... :( I'm so terrified..... :O

  • @CptnAura yeah same here, i decided when they were talking about the suction cup on the eye

  • @CptnAura Well you need lasik surgery to keep your glasses too.

  • my grandma had this done and now she can see way better, i was told that there was no pain or the sensation to move your eye (the sedatives are very strong), there is no feeling/need to blink your eye

  • Is this surgery also used for a lazy eye?

  • I'm not nevous now thank u cuz I will get one when in 21

  • Nucleausanimation please post more of these, there cool and i got to see my tonsil

    surgery :D

  • I'll have this surgery done tomorrow!!! OMG

  • @maratous

    How was your experience ?

  • i would need loads of "sedatives" to help me relax lmao

  • I've always wonderd that if a person can give his eyes to a blind person so that he can see???? is it possible? :D PLZ DO TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SuperUniverseQueen yes it possible if theres nothing wrong with the brain receiving sight o.O

  • @JustmeKasie Woooow!!! XD

  • so if you move your eye you get blind?

  • So will i blink or not cuz im scared shitless if i had to do this

  • @TheSupardude "your doctor will use a lid speculum" to hold your eye open...

  • I can't keep my eyes open for 20 minutes!!

  • @paradfall they put drops in your eye every few seconds witch reduces any urge for blinking

  • @happyVIDwatcher water makes me shut my eyes

  • Im going to eye doctor today to do this -_- gosh kinda shocked.

  • One of Niskarli's staff was all wasted, and stuff, and he performed bladed Lasik surgery on my penis. When I went into the water, the top part of it had detatched. I didnt know that could happen with Lasik.

  • Wow!

  • Will this procedure correct farsightedness???? I mean I see good 3 feet and farther

20/12 eye dr says....but i need reading glasses to do work...i'm a machist....and hate glasses.....

  • what a technich

  • Ya hace un año de mi cirugía de corrección visual, Mamá me regalaste la vida, y también me regalaste la vista.. gracias, mi vida dió un giro de 360°.

  • Right...

Now I'm sure contact lenses are the best thing for me

  • scary..

  • Wow... lasic is 299 per eye... wtf.

  • fuck that, glasses are ok with me

  • it only takes like 20 minutes to get both eyes fixed i thought it would take an hour a piece

  • WE NEED SOME INNOVATION IN CANCER RESEARCH

  • I understand the fear.. my only advice would be to consult only reputable doctors and have the procedure with reputable clinics as well. These services won't be offered if they are not safe to begin with.

  • @LasikEyeSurgery now if i had a tramatic catoract, a torn iris, and pressure problems, would it be wise for me to get lasik? Or would it even help sense I had 20/15 in it before a bb slammed into going 400 fps?

  • @filipinofear13

Take care of it now before your eye will blow up from intensive bleeding (usually occurs overnight).

  • I saw this on an episode of How It's Made and I was squirming and screaming while on the couch.

If they ever do this to me then they better put me to sleep or something... I would not cooperate..

  • LASIK ruined my life.

  • When I'm outside in sharp light or in a place with much light i see some kind of a flickering red lights in my left eye???

    Have anyone experienced this before?

I have been to both opticians and doctors but they could not see anything so an ophthalmologist is my next visit.

  • fuck, i had this operation, and now that i see how it was i started to make tears

they forget the part about seein a lot of lights and colors when the laser cuts the transparent thing XD

  • wtf???? this said that your eye won't require stitches?? since when was it that eyes required stitches?

  • I had it done last year, best thing i've ever done. For 1 nights slight discomfort, it's totally worth it to see without the inconvenience of glasses or contacts. I would thoroughly, 100% recommend it to anyone thinking to try it!!

  • the eye doesn't need stitches?! thank god! that's the only thing that was deterring me from getting this surgery

  • i can watch any kind of surgery but not this one, i don't know why but this grosses me out, i never get grossed out when i see surgeries! this is just....blaah.

  • creepy.. i'd rather wear glasses or contacts for life..

  • imagine cornea transplant I hope i don't have to get to that point.

  • LOL. eye stitches.

  • Don't take the risk with this surgery. Long term side effects are unknown and it can ruin your vision. These so called doctors will operate on anyone. They will not properly screen you or warn you of real side effects. Why take the risk for vanity? Glasses and contacts are safe. Stick to them. TRUST ME!!!!!

  • @TheVengefulGod These days lots of people wear glasses they don't need as an accessory (vanity) including me sometimes. I got Lasik because I kept losing and breaking my expensive bifocals. Contacts didn't work for my type of astigmatism. No vanity on my part. I just got tired of maintaining and replacing eyeglasses.

I went to a real eye surgeon who thoroughly screened and tested me and made the potential risks clear. I investigated him thoroughly.

  • @bluestucco still a major risk to take with such a vital sense. Long term effects are not know.

  • @TheVengefulGod

The long term effects of life itself are unknown. Might as well lock oneself in a safe room for life, rather than take the risk of driving a car etc. I know people who had this done 10 years ago with no vision problems. One of them just died on the freeway last month. The only clear and present danger, is to people who make a living off eyeglasses and contacts.

  • @bluestucco that's the dumbest fucking analogy I have ever heard. Eye glasses and contacts are safe. shooting a fucking laser into your eyes and burning off the cornea and corneal nerves is a stupid risk for vanity. "Lock oneself in a safe room"? wtf are you talking about. There are literally thousands of people who have had their eye injured by this procedure. Good luck when you get a cataract in the next 10 years. Lasik causes them. It causes permanent dry eyes. It causes uva damage. Stupid .

  • @TheVengefulGod my dad had PRK done 15 years ago and his sight is still good except for reading but he's 62 now, that type of surgery won't fix your reading sight as that deteriorates with old age.

  • @bluestucco wonder why you will never find a laser vision surgeon who has actually gotten this "amazing" procedure? They know. Their just not telling.

  • ....well atleast you dont need stiches :D

  • how old do u have to be to get this

  • i wonder if you can see what they are doing? can anyone who had this done tell me?

  • @sedona2010arizona "i wonder if you can see what they are doing? can anyone who had this done tell me?"

Yes, you can. I thought it was cool. It's a little freaky at first seeing that something is going to make direct contact with your eye. You want to blink or flinch but you can't. But that only lasted a second. As soon as contact was made and it wasn't painful I relaxed. They make sure you're comfortable before they start doing anything. They give you plenty of time to say "STOP!".

  • i wonder what the statistics are for successful surgery and unsuccessful surgery...

  • My dad might have to get this. FFFFF- omg. xD;;

  • This is like alien technology.. love it lol

  • my dad once had this done

  • The only other bad part, is that the antibiotic eye drops make their way to the back of your throat and it tastes a little icky. But again, well worth it considering the results I got. They have you looped on Xanax during the procedure, so your panic reflex is completely subdued. At no time did I come close to freaking out. Getting a tooth drilled by the dentist is a far worse experience as far as I'm concerned.

  • @bluestucco reallY? what did it feel like when the thng squeezhed your eye, and there cut your eye, how did it feel after the surgery?

  • I love the results of mine a year later. No problems whatsoever. Fantastic vision. The only part I didn't like was seeing something going straight into my eye and not being able to blink of flinch. Purely a psychological thing. More amusing than scary. The pressure on my left eye during the procedure was a tad uncomfortable, but no biggie. A little freaky, slightly uncomfortable, but totally worth it.

  • 1 in 7 people who have laser eye surgery suffer permanent vision problems including ghosting and glare, and 80% of patients lose night vision. This should not be considered proper treatment. Add to this the fact that laser eye surgery is like placing a permanent minus lens in front of a person's eye, thus worsening the eye elongation and problems with the ciliary muscles, the surgery would eventually 'wear off'. In other words, your eyes just get worse. You can't win once you have severe myopia.

  • What the fuck is she saying? i don't understand shit!

  • haha

  • lol

  • @bonisboy you can have this only if your sight is stable. meaning if your eyes weaken by time, you have to wait with this surgery.

  • I need a good doctor in New York city who performed this surgery many of time(i need a champ in the field). Any recommendation is welcome i will do research on who you recommend. Thank you.

  • i had this surgery in about 3 years from now and i gotta say it was the best 3000 bucks ever spent, before i could not see at all but now :D

  • DO THEY PUT U TO SLEEP AT ALL!!!? if not i will SUE i repeat SUEEEEEEE

  • @myah121 No they don't, they can put a sedative to help you relax and they put drops in your eyes to numb them from the pain.

  • what does the thing called its a ~ thing and with a red color on ur eye

  • don't get laser vision surgery. It ruined my eyes and my career.

  • @Piisteins SAD, BUT VERY TRUE....MORE THAT 85% OF PPL THAT GO INTO MEDICINE DO IT FOR THE MONEY AND BENEFITS..

  • Of course! that is the reason why he or she went to school and spent his time with Teahers.. for about,, how many years? Even the President, vice president, businessmen, attorney,, etc,,, no need to explain..

  • @Piisteins not in Canada, muahahaha!

  • After my cataract surgery my vision was good but after 12 weeks it was blurry and not clear and something was hiding. I met the Doctor and he said that there was formation of water in the centre of the eye and has given me drops to apply. I am very much worried whether my eye sight will be clear and want to know why this water formation in my eye after 12 weeks. Pl. clarify.

  • Do these pictures created by people who have had these surgeries look like your expectation of "20/20"?? The doctors measure a very narrow aspect of vision. Don't get this surgery!!!! go to visionsurgeryrehab . c o m /imagegallery . html

Take the spaces out of the web address to see the images. I am trying to save even one person from this nightmare!!! Notice really smart people do their research and don't get this?? Bill Gates wears glasses for crying out load.

  • I could never do this to myself. I'd be far too terrified of moving my eye and accidentally blinding myself.

  • @Squatchylicious i agree with u im terrified..ill just stick with contacts

  • @Squatchylicious

very true man even if i spend 50 grand or 1 million but the surgery goes wrong what ill regret is the blindness and not the money

  • @Squatchylicious it's 2011 there an eye tracker to check eye movements 400 times a second.

  • @Squatchylicious I know right? just look a bit to the right and that thing rips off the rest of your lens and you get a laser shooting you in the wrong spots

  • @Squatchylicious Yeah you would'nt want to do this to yourself, I would use a eye surgeon....he can keep your eye still.......OK...get it.....

  • @Squatchylicious It's very rare for someone to be blind afterwards, I got it done & it was the best thing I ever had.

  • @Squatchylicious they paralize your eye

  • @Squatchylicious u wont be able to anyway cuz theyll numb your eye...

  • im THANKFUL to GOD & that DOCTOR that i can see well without my lenses or glasses.

since its my 5th/week my DOCTOR said that i'll have 20/20 VISION & it takes more then 6/weeks.

so anyway anybody need to ask or need help contact me without hazitation.

    so cheers...............

  • B4 the procedure the DOCTORS said specifically that my VISION will improve from 4-6 weeks.first 4-5 days i was having a minor irritation in both eyes & they gave me 3/different eye drop to use.so after 5th day there was no irrtitation & in 3rd week i was driving.one thing i need to let you guys know that first 3-4 weeks my eye sight was perfect during the 2-3 hours of morning but after got blury, becoz the eyes got tired, but it was improving.yes i wasn't able to use computer for 3 weeks but now..

  • ok let me tell you how it works.i don't know about other doctors, but here in VANCOUVER there many LASER/CLINICS.but the most trusted one was

    **** LONDON EYE CENTRE ***

so i met them & they gave me an appointment.they advised no to wear contact lenses for a week.then i did test my eye.My EYE sight was -3.25 / farsight.

so they told me im a good candidate. The FEE was $3000 but since 9-10 of Work/colleauges did that from the centre & they got me $500 off by their reffereal.

    anyway i did it.

  • well,i did the LASIK 5 weeks ago & the procedure was different then this.mine took only 22 seconds per/eye & with no cutting, just a Lasik with Laser, with no pain at all.

i did becoz after many years of research & met many many friends firend which some of them did 7 & some did 2-3 years ago & all of them were so happy with it.

so iam recommanding it to every friend & family of mine, just go for it.

  • what if you need to blink????!

  • @DreamAboutSpace YOU CAN'T!that is what all the eye drops and clockwork orange shit is there for.

  • as long as you hold your eyeball perfectly still during the surgery, you wont go blind. Im not just trying to scare anyone, its a fair warning. Move it AT ALL and an eye will stop working. That is the downfall here.

  • it is really interesting & informative

  • i got mine done in 15 minutes. Its not bad, just pressure.

  • @arased11 What does this cure anyways? Does this cure a poor eyesight?

  • @revlin66 Yes, it helps with your vision.

  • im so scared now. iunno if i should do this ><;;. D:/

  • whats the danger i herd there some danger i am 15 i plan on doing this when i stop growing cuz that what the doc said i hope that by then they make this much safer and lower risks

  • The eye? Stitches????

  • doing this cost 4000$...

  • stitches would be terrifying

  • people they numb out your eye it wont hurt at all go to what the buck he had the surgery it shows you how he got it and like yah he is even describing his experience.

  • i'm scare, my surgery is next week :(

  • @TicklesMeSillyYou so how was it:?

  • Am having this done in a week. Looking forward to dying more than this lol

  • i'm F______ sCAREDDDDDDDdkafhi' GJT"ad

  • what if they lose the bit they slice?

    :(

  • what if a magnitude 10 earthquake happened when the lasers are fixing your eye?

  • @FranrulesVistasucks that person will be screwed

  • @FranrulesVistasucks then your screwed

  • @FranrulesVistasucks i will marry you for that comment! thats exactly what i thought ahhaa soulmates :P

  • @FranrulesVistasucks The lasik system is movement sensible. Thus it stops when you move.

  • @FranrulesVistasucks

    youd die

  • @FranrulesVistasucks Geodude would come and save you !

  • im just wondering is this how you fix nearsideness

  • Isn't the upper thing/eye piece going off the eye? He puts it back!?

  • @MegaMultiX He peels it back, not take it completely out...

  • @bartownsu So it stays on!?

  • @MegaMultiX yea, If it does come off however i believe ure fucked, look up lasik gone wrong, I'm not sure tho ^^

  • @bartownsu OK, thanks :D

  • Does it mean that u see everything? i mean, everything the doctor is doing?

Or will u loose sight after certain time during the surgery?

  • I know that it is often safe. But I am NOT taking any risks with my vision. Like with any surgery, there is always risks. And I don't want to take my chances.

Yes, it's a bit of a hassle to put on contact lenses every morning, but it's not that bad!

  • I just had LASIK done May 3rd and am sooo happy....I too was scared about going blind or something going wrong..It turned out ok though...I can totally see almost perfect...still healing...the only thing my Dr. didnt tell me was that when they put that suction cup on your eye...it hurts alittle..little uncomfortable but worth it...its over so quick its amazing.... totally worth every penny....

  • LASIK is the best thing that ever happend

  • @clipper1973 Hi, I'm thinking of getting LASIK done, if you dont mind could you please share your experiences? I'm sure this would help me through!, Thanks and appreciate your time. Congrats to you.

  • This is brilliant. Science FTW!

  • o wow that looks very painful im near sighted and im thinking of doing this but i just hope that it doesnt hurt as much as it looks.

  • Oh my god this looks terrifying!! Does that tool keep you from moving your eyes? Because I'd keep moving them away when they get near my eyes, and I'd be screaming as hell! DD;

  • good thing this was cartoon.. or i would vomit

  • Im wearing glasses ... and does this hurt and can you blink? I LOVE YOU GLASSES!

  • Vanity

  • ouch

  • @qtbeauty95 It doesn't hurt at all.

  • I had lasik done about four years ago and the surgery itself was nothing like I had imagined watching these videos. I was scared that I'd feel and see the "knife" itself but in reality the best way of describing it would be to close your eye while touching the eyelid. nontheless, it's still a risky surgery and something to think twice about before rushing into
