I see my wife doing JUST that for real. A while ago she said she was in a restaurant and they had her waiting a long time. This guy took it upon himself to get the staff on the ball. Well, he tried to push up and she politely explained to him that her man (me, of course) is 6'6" and wouldn't be appreciative of him...He left her alone...

That's that Maya Angelou, Angela Sanchez, Georgia Me, Sista Soulja, Erica Badu and JILL SCOTT "stuff" rolled all up into one kind of written and spoken FUNK! DAMN, Sista' gurl, came HARD on this one!
If you actually had a conversation that went anything like that and the guy stuck around for that entire thing, he deserves some credit and an apology for that short attention span comment because honestly, if the guy was anything like the person in this piece, he would have walked away :\
@SimplySynical Truth is I normally don't invest this much time in a conversation with such a guy...truth is I really don't have that kind of time to waste...but as a poet sometime one thing will spark a creative thought and the rest flows... :-) I love that about creativity...Thanks for listening!! :-)
