Starship Troopers is a lot like commercial hummers the first one is the best by far, when the second one comes out you think it sucks because its not like the first, but when the third one comes out you realize that the second is a hell of a lot better than the third still not nearly as good as the first but far superior to the third at least in my opinion

The rifles look like a possible development of the ones from the first and are more beliveable than those huge things the MI lugged around in no. 3. The MI function pretty much as they did in the first whereas there were some distinct changes i didn't like in the no. 3 All in all its really alright, just no one gives it a chance because it doesn't have Casper...

Personally, I felt this movie was excellently made: Take into consideration it's ending. It's an ad for joining the Marines. Who would do so if they knew their guns shot spitwads instead of bullets, that they would die within moments of hitting ground? Better to make the MIs look like heroes. To that end, this movie was excellently produced, and had - taking that into consideration - great acting and visual effects, making them look like fucking gods of war, instead of meat bags.
