I typed in what you told me and I viewed one Sarah Palin CBS Katie Couric (interview) I till did not see where she made that statement. She did explain about Russia and Alaska share a trade route. But the "I can see Russia from my back yard" is from the skit a SNL. That's what Tina Fey (the one who wishes she was as hot as Sarah) said.
However I believe this may the quote from Sarah Palin. "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska." That is true. You can see Russia from an island of Alaska. The distance between Russia and Alaska is only 55 miles and is seperated by the Bering Straight. I typed in what you told me and I viewed one Sarah Palin CBS Katie Couric (interview) I till did not see where she made that statement. She did explain about Russia and Alaska share a trade route. But the "I can see Russia from my back yard" is from the skit a SNL. That's what Tina Fey (the one who wishes she was as hot as Sarah) said.

Actually doulovlies, Palin said not that the proximity was the foreign experience. She and the Alaskan government dealt with Russia through trade routes. And that is true. But even that as minimal as it was, she still had more foreign experience than Barack ODumbo. Neither one had any, but he had less than she did. My only point which I will say only one more time is that she did not say she can see Russia from her back yard. That was Tina Fey on an SNL skit. I will not respond again.
