I think you've been misinformed. Most if not all of the big ones allow console characters.

Final Round and WCG were two recent tournies that allowed console characters.

A Seth player finished in 2nd a WCG tourny.

if u guys look online u will find that the US head seth killian already released a statement saying they are about the same load times and ppl shouldn't be worried so...the final game won't load this slow apparently

This is a test version, the trophy interface is probably not programed into the PS3 version yet.  Im pretty sure it won't do that when the original comes out.

Well, the 360 controller really isn't built for fighters, but I use it fine for SSF2T HD Remix on Live, and the PS3 controller is better for fighters. They're both possible, but they aren't as good as a stick. If you're just a casual player a controller is fine for you.

well i got a ps3 gamepad and i think it goes better than a 360 pad and i don't want to waste extra money for a joystick that i won't use so much because i got other games as well so i think i keep using my ps3 pad

i checked out a ces 2009 vid...and it says = Gamespot noticed that the ps3 version is a bit slower(A BIT????360 = 5 seconds PS3 = 20!!!),but if you want to make it faster,download a pach(i don't fuckin know where it is actually at,and i'm not sure that's a ''pach'')

Its 15 seconds on both systems plus install means they will be shortened. These are only builds for dev kits anyways and not retail blu-ray copies

PS3 controller fits perfectlly in fighting games cause of the individual directional botton. NOT 360 D-pad. 1st!!!
