@tman3545 Well I'd suggest investing your evs in special def. for Noctowl is more specialized in sp. def

and as for the moveset I would probably suggest Night shade, Roost, Hypnosis, and Reflect/ Psycho shift my Noctowl's evs are more for special attacking purposes so I basically put them to sleep and try to get off enough damage to kill it with my Noctowl but the Noctowl I'm suggesting to you will probably work better for it can pretty much wall a special attacker and widdle it down

It can only if you have the national deks. And you can catch in the evening. Hoothoot in the Safari zone and Noctowl with Hoothoot on route 210 North and 211 East or the Spring Path.

I might be wrong but I'm near certain you can get hoothoot and noctowl before you get the national dex, I'm certain i've had one before and i've never had the national dex.

I sometimes get the feeling you neglect STAB, like with using Psychic in the beginning, or did you do it counting on Gliscors Special Defense to lower?

Your Noctowl is really strong, I thought all it was good in was Special Defense and HP, guess not.

That was "Awesome" Noctowl really put a dent in this trainers team and it took out what I consider to be one of the most annoying pokemon "SCIZOR"

For that, this battle has been added to my favourites. Well done :D

Its was funny that my Noctowl was faster than his Scizor, and I didn't even train in his Speed.

And than was Air Slash a Critical Hit by Scizor ^^
