Never heard this version before. Have the original by the Shangri Las. and the new version by Agnetha Faltskorg (ABBA) on her album "My Colouring Book". Don't know what it is about this song, I ought to hate it for its sentimentality but I think its beautiful.
The song is kinda slow and lame, but there is no denying the beauty of Joanne Whalley. Great photos! I will always remember her as the fiery redhead, Sorsha, in Willow.
I also had this on 7" in the 80's, it was 1 of my favourite tracks, i threw all my old vinyl away when cd's came out and i could never remember what this was called or who it was that sung it, but i could always remember the sleeve with a girl with pink boots and belt on and a black & white background. I am so glad i have found this tune again after all these years. Thank you so much. Talk about goosepimples on my arms!
Thanks for sharing this! I've got the 7" single, but haven't had a turntable for years,so it's great to hear 'Cindy' again! D'you know if this was her only release? Thanks any way : )
There was another single, TERRY (the sleeve is the last picture in the gallery with 'PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE'above) and I'll upload that sometime if this one proves popular...
she did a follow up called Terry which is also rather good, and the B side to this is called nothing like this which is great also,

Joanne reminds me of another dark-haired, beautiful actress, a generation before her....Natalie Wood.

I loved her since I saw her in Edge of Darkness and Scandal is still the only film I have ever gone to see just because the leading lady is so hot.

I was wondering if anyone out there has the film "Will you still love me tomorrow?" Made in Wales in 1985/6 with Joanne?

Thanks for putting this on - it's good.
I digitised it but hadn't found time to put some pics/clips to it so you've saved me a job!
She appears in one of my favourite films - No Surrender , which is also a rarity to find.
Truly a classy looking girl.

Agreed, NO SURRENDER is still the best film Jo's been in - she sings in that too, and it's among the "dialogue" extracts on the Soundtrack album!
