  • I've got this problem too and am trying to fix it. A few attempts to better seat the tape only temporarily worked. Now it's time to go to HP. Le sigh.

  • HP makes great stuff. I bought some stuff from Officetronics and got cheated. Sold me a refurb and told me it was new. Officetronics is a total fraud and scam. Stay away from Officetronics when buying Hewlett Packard (HP) goods. They have bad reviews on Google. Company sales HP stuff as a scam. Other than that I bought from TigerDirect and my HP is working great!!!!

  • Take it to a regular computer repair shop and stop being a little bitch about it. Jesus, you haven't even used your resources yet.

  • Thats fucked up, i would have called all day until i was able to send it back in for a new one, if you keep sending it back in to be fixed they will just keep doing patch jobs on it.

  • That's what customer support is for though? Since you haven't had any problems, you obviously haven't called customer support. And the keyword for you is "recently". Just give it another month or so and you'll be in one of our positions, trust me. And for your information, I've dealt with HP for over 5 months, they never help me (Even though I'm nice to them) and I "recently got my third replacement and love the thing".

  • HP must be horrible to be the top computer manufacturer. If this isn't a review take the word "review" out of the title! You should always assume that they are gonna format your drive if you send in a computer, thats common sense.

  • I recently got my HDX and love the thing, not one problem. Can't say everyone's experience will be perfect, that's what customer support is for though.

  • What are you talking about? Yeah, it probably does happen to all HP's. Do you understand this happens EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's not like a one a week or once a month type thing. I hold meetings and this crap happens. Thanks for a being a dick though, I appreciate it.

  • It is a review, just not a video review. The video is just the type of shit that you'll go through if you go with HP. And oh, I was on a computer support forum and I wanted to post a video so they could so what I meant.
