I loved the Dolly song Backwoods barbie? I lived in NC for awhile was born in ALA and now live in LA. No matter where we go in life, we always take a piice of home with us. You could see how you have that place in you. And I love how you started to video all glam then at the end you were just a plain jane from the backwoods. A real life barbie.

While I would not normally associate Nashville with snow (that's way too far south, isn't it?), I do appreciate the winter here in Chicago, cuz it provides plenty of opportunies to wear all kinds of warm cuddly jackets and coats that are not appropriate for warmer climes. The person doing my makeup was Chyna, one of my oldest and dearest friends in Nashville. Chyna was my mentor when I first started learning to do makeup and stage entertainment. still let her paint my face now and then, because she says I hardly wear any makeup any more, ha ha.

That was a wonderful video hun, but it seemed almost bittersweet for some reason. I WISH I could have access to a makeup artist like that. he he.. as far as the new goes, I'm thankful I don't live in MD right now, they have like, 3'!
