for hiccups, the best thing to do is hold your breath and swallow three times. (making sure you hold your breath for as long as pos.) It works 99% of the time. If it doesn't them ultimately holding your breath for as long as physically possible should work.

Toothpaste on blemishes does work! But it has to be real paste (like the white stuff) not tooth-gel. Best if used over knight with a band-aid so that it does get all in your pillows. And on the first day you noticed the blemish. All out'ta Luv...

They both work.

Toothpaste is supposed to be put on the pimple it has to be paste not gel. it just dries it out. i tried it that way it's easier to take off. but it's the same price for an acne spot treatment tube. I guess toothpaste works in case of emergency.

hiccups are incurable you just have to wait for your breathing pattern or ur diaphragm to reset itself, sometimes scaring someone can reset it., because it changes your breathing. drinking water, holding your breath etc.

i remember one of my friends had hicups so i ran up so him and screamed in his face as loud as i could.... i think it more pissed him off than cured the hicups. OH! also, for some reason (i dont know why) but even though i am american i have somehow picked up a fairly heavy british accent, and it is amazingly hard for me to speak without an accent. it really confuses me, as to where i got the accent, i dont know... lets just leave it a mystery

Toothpaste helps dry your pimples. Not that good for your skin but it does get rid of the pimple. just put a lot of moisturiser on the patch of skin after :)

I've heard that toothpaste only works because it dries the spot out... only problem is it dries your skin out too. I wouldn't know though as I haven't tried... I'm lucky in the aspect that I missed out on the whole acne issue...

the best way to cure Hiccups is to store some sort of liquid (water/juice/soda/etc) in your mouth and bend as if your head is upside down, and drink while upside down. Works EVERYTIME!

The toothpaste on acne may have some credibility, but not for hickeys. Hickeys are contusions (bruises) that are formed when small blood vessels burst under the pressure of suction applied to the area. Applying toothpaste doesn't nothing for this, however applying ice to the area directly following the suction may help reduce it's appearance.
