@EyeLiek2Fish That's a symptom of quite severe stress, I'm afraid. The moving back and forth is seen in many caged animals who're used to living in large habitats. A raccoon's habitat can be between 7 and 50 square km, depending on gender and age and such.

I'm glad that raccoon (probably) went to a rescue.
