  • As a metter of fact bluetooth doesnt work either.

Helpppppppp for the sprint network, i cant make calls without sprint or messages

  • Everything works great exept I cant get connectet to sprint, it gets stuck in searching for my sprint network

  • Hey I Installed froyo 7 ..It works well camera is good, wifi enables but cant connect to a network.bluetooth is Ok.

But its kind of slow in HTC TP2.

I want to try ginger bread ,

Can anyone post a Good link on gingerbread???????

  • hello,

so is this a sdboot or a more permanent nand build? also, does it affect the landscape mode is anyway as far as using the keyboard? i am most likely considering doing this very soon. thanks.

  • @brokenxsky03 This is an SD build, I haven't tried an nand as of yet. Using the landscape works fine for me.

  • For the overclocking questions Place this command in your startup.txt: acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=614400 for 614.4 MHz. Choose multiples of 19.2 MHz, or the system will default to the closest multiple for you (for example if you put in 700000 it will really be ~692 MHz instead of 700 MHz). (See also Kernel boot command-line parameters.)

  • Sorry that I have not replied recently. I have a new job that takes up a lot of my time. That and I recently got myself an iPhone so i havent been working on my htc project as much but I'll try to get back to it soon.

  • so is there any need for a dual boot? and does anyone no if the app rom manager work

  • i already using it.thank you.but i cant use my wifi :(

  • it says failed to find on sd card.you need to unzip a rootfs to the root of your sd card..hw to do that

  • i follow all ur instruction but when i click the haret it says - dont support H2W_DEVICE ..

  • Hey the build is pretty good! Not perfect but ok..

Is there a button which you can switch between active applications?

Example: When Im watching video's and switching to texting?

  • I got to the touchscreen part of the boot process, and It won't recognize my touches, and is stuck on this screen. I'm using the same phone here, an HTC Touch Pro 2, "Rhodium". Anyone have a similar problem?

  • @dch528 Make sure you are using the correct startup.txt and don't change anything in it. It's in the STARTUPS/RHOD400 directory.

  • how do u get service when u boot it to android

  • @Jcharacter123 It should be auto, unless you use Sprint then there are some work arounds that are on the XDA

forums that you will have to look up.

  • Yea my wifi not working for this build :/

  • @Soundboymusic23 Try the Froyo 7.1 build on XDA, that may work with wifi, I know mine works but BT doesn't.

  • @gonzuluz and another thing lol im not getting any service

  • @Soundboymusic23 Haha, I'm guessing it worked for you?

  • this work with CDMA phones like Verizon ?

  • @imagendecalidad Thought I Had replied, yes I use uscc and that's a cdma.

  • awesome! Do you have the link to get Fryo so we can use that startup file instead of the one for gingerbread? thx

  • @bedevere007 I will put the link in the description since I can't post links here. the newest one is 7.1 and is actually a lot faster then gingerbread and the older Froyo 7.0

  • awesome

  • thanks for the video i succesfully installed the gingerbread andriod but i cant seem to get mobile network it says unable to connect.. did i do something wrong?

  • @tegaification You may have the key incorrect or there may be an error and the phone will not support it. is your phone the TP2?

  • @gonzuluz yes it is a tp2 rhod100

  • @tegaification And you used the RHOD100 startup.txt from the froyo folder like I suggested in the video?

  • all of the files are in the description.

  • Excuse me where I can find the file to install Android on my Rhodium?

    Thank you so much

  • Ok i got a quick question, i did all the steps exactly, i even grabbed the froyo start up like you said and booted up. Everything worked fine execpt for one thing, i got no cell service. i'm on Sprint, does that have anything to do with it? But other than that I wanted to say great video man.. I'm looking for 2.3.4 or 2.3.3 if you can help out with that too. Thanx in advance man i aprreciate this vid!

  • At the end you say you will shut it down and reboot it. Does this mean you have to wait another 15-20 minutes for all this to happen again to get back to gingerbread?

  • @lasersafe No, it wont take as long. You do have to run the Haret again from within windows, although there are a few cab progeams out there that will let you choose what one you want to boot before it logs into winmo.

  • I actually got my phone to stay stable at 806MHz up from 522 normal and 787 oc.

  • hey man, great video! how's the battery life on gingerbread?

  • @ahmoon01 It's ok, I actually need a new one anyway, so right now I only get about ~12 hours of on and off usage. I leave my wifi on all the time so that eats the battery. but all in all not to bad.

  • You're welcome, I've been hacking y start-up recently and found you can Overclock the TP2 with this, at this time I have Gingerbread oc'ing my phone to 787 stable and I'm going to try for more later. twitpic. com/6ddf63

  • ty alot for the video trying to cook that rom for almost a month and still no boot after first 3 trie's i give up thinkingi'll brick my cellphone .....the starup from froyo really did the trick.... nice work
