Honestly I wanted another HTC and I really don't know why I went for a 3GS you don't have to compare shit all because people are happy with what they have right now. I had an HTC Magic with a smashed screen that lasted me about 2 years before I broke the LCD and I didn't even crack the glass my friend did! My point is you don't always have to upgrade to the newest device when in reality all it does is load webpages 5 seconds faster and it makes a blue more darker!

When u zoom on the iPod touch pictures they look like crap :/ I tested my iPhone 1 the very first iphone which has a 2.0 mega pixel camera against the ipod touch 4 camera well of course the first iPhone wins, zoom in on the pictures and ull see what I mean, if the first iPhone camera beats the iPod what do u think the third iPhone will do? It beats both

2. The video on the ipod 4g isn't about the same, it's way better.

3. The pic quality and vid quality is the same :)

5. You can't really test the browser, if they're on the same wifi.

@Electronishment Actually, picture quality is NOT the same, because the 3GS is capable of full 3.2 megapixel pictures, whereas iPod Touch 4G is only capable of mere .7 megapixel stills. Browser can be tested, just because they are on the same wifi doesn't mean that speed is variable. Both are sharing the bandwidth, so its fair game for both devices. Most speed comparisons all across the web are done with two devices on the same wifi network. Besides, what else could he do? Ipod is only wifi...

@SuperTechkid That depends on the thickness of your retina on the back of your eye. For example, my retina is very thin and light is a sensitive thing for me. The retina display will cause strain for all eyes no matter your sensitivity with pro-longed use or being to close to the screen. As for the brightness if it doesn't bother you it is not going to do any damage more significant than the screen itself. I would suggest low brightness for long period uses and brighter when needed to be safe.

I'm sorry to be a troll but smaller, more dense pixels will damage your eyes WAY more than lower quality screens. LED's in general are harmful to our eyes, for example: LED ipad screen vs the kindle ink jet screen

It may not seem that way to most people because they do not have sensitive eyes but to those who do, the retina display will create a headache within 5mins of low brightness screen time on the ipod touch 4g.

Looks nice but it is very damaging.
