'relive' is the new album from paul haig, the former front man of cult post-punks josef k. marking haig's third new album in as many years, it's more evidence of a remarkable surge of creativity from the man who once vowed never to sing or perform on stage again.

  • roboc11 - thanks.

I'll be checking that out for sure.

bizarrely enough Malcolm Ross releases a new album next month too!

  • WHOA. To see a video for this? AMAZING.

It's a joy to have this 12" single.

  • I heard that it was New Order providing the backup music. True?

  • Talk about obscure, this song makes we want to breakdance by midway !!....

  • Gold microphone!? Fantastic!

  • YEAH Paul Haig+Josef K forever fünfundvierzigrecords Cologne Germany

  • Incredible, you need only update some of those synthesizer pads and the song would sound as if it was recorded yesterday. Timeless.

  • Yeah Numbers, Houston, Tx. This was the s hit.

  • It was songs like this played there and found in bins like at Noo-Beat that made me want to become a DJ. This later happened -- just not in Houston. Trouble was, no one elsewhere knew half the stuff we heard there in that 1985-1991 window.

  • I owned Noo Beat Records. Those were the Daze.

  • You and Rick. I do remember! In that room, I was introduced to my favourite album of all time, to which it remains so uncontested even now: the original German CD pressing for "A Secret Wish". QED. It's also where I found Poesie Noire's double EP CD in April 1990, Art of Mix's CD3, Hubert KaH's "Goldene Zeiten", the 2-disc Prehistoric Razormaid! set, the red vinyl bootleg of UK Vision's "Lucifer's Friend", and on and on.

    I was a young, impressionable 17-year-old. :)

  • Houston has changed a lot since then. Is rick the same guy that owned record rack and #'s? i left Houston in 2004 and feel sad everytime i see what they are doing to westheimer. just not the same anymore.

  • Yeah Numbers was the Shit between 1981-1985 then all the "other" people started F**king it up of us. Oh, this song is out on CD, Pure Warp Fun. I bought on amazon.

  • This was a great song to dance to at Numbers. Too bad they never played it as much as the others. I really got tired of dancing to "A way" or "How soon is now".

  • I had the 12" back then and there was a great track on the b-side. Anyone still have that or know the name of the song? (well actually I think there were 2 tracks on the b-side but I really liked 1 of them.)
