jason, i chopped my SSH clone i had about a week ago and hung it upside down in an empty closet then jared it about four days after (didnt have a fan or dehu or anything just hung it upside down. the temp was about 65-70) and now my buds smell like grass. they had a very strong nice smell will this come back or how do i prevent my bud from loosing its smell in the future.

@themedicinemanftw you will want to give the plant fresh air do this daily and twist the plant stem so it gets stronger to make up for the lack of wind, just a simple rubbing of the stem back and forth will do. there is a pinching method too but this in my opinion leaves too much stress and too much stress takes away growth so we dont want that twisting the plant puts little stress and gives you bigger stems. ( basically if you do this right your main stem should look like a twister over time)

Using a de-humidifier for drying is fine which is why I use it. The Humidity of an enclosed room with a fan goes through the roof and can cause mildew, mold, and so forth. If using a DeHu be sure and run it on normal your cannabis will be fine.

I like to take the hot air from the hoods exhaust and duct into my dry tent. I use a cool coil and drip trap to pull the moisture out of the air, drain it everyday, about 3-4 oz of water.

Whenever i harvest, i put them in my grow tent with the fans still going in complete darkness till the main stem snaps easily and doesn't bend. Then they move to brown paper bags and i move the buds twice daily. Then they move to jars once the bud seems smoke-able and easy to burn. You can use a Charcoal filter on a fan to filter out the smell and it works quite well.

but i was wondering how long you run your dehumidifier at and at what rh level?

i also live in a humid environment, but ive heard that leaving your dehumidifier on for 2 long can make the buds lose a lot of there smell and taste... but of course you dont want to get powdery mildew or anything of that sort.

so i was wondering how long you leave your dehumidifer running for and what the temperature and rh of the room is.

the only thing i have noticed with my own experience is that using an oscelating fan in the room itself in turn dries the buds out to fast which gives it a harsher smoke and not the greatest smell when its being burned lol but awesome videos man i'm excited for u to be putting out alot more all in HD to thats bad ass. take care man. thanx!
