  • goos sound ? are you normal ?

    good sound hase 4.2 V8

  • i love the sound of the new 6 cylinder. also the s4 makes starnge noise when shifting. its like a thumping sound. hard to explain

  • wie viel ps hast du, ist es APR tuning oder mtm

  • @rurmundo what the hell does that mean??

  • @SR7800t I know this comment is a bit dated but rurmundo is this 5 year old inbred pos that spends his days going to EVERY B8 S4 video to criticize its new S/C V8, then he goes around to EVERY other non S4 audi RS/S video then praises their non-V6 exhaust note. All using a very comprehensive form of broken english.

P.S. your reviews are great, keep it up.

  • @rurmundo go to school

  • how much fuel does it take when you drives fast

  • @EnigmaWorld Thats sort of hard to figure out unless he recorded miles, and how much he filled up. Just assume not good no matter what car it is.

  • @EnigmaWorld A lot. Like any car.

  • Looking to get this car!!

By the way, what camera was this filmed by.

    Really good definition.

  • @vgcreationz hello! it was filmed on a panasonic lumix.. just a good older point and shoot camera.. prob a 2006 model

  • nice vid, love the car! Audi Quattro rules!

  • so do you prefer this to manual?.

  • @Cybergig00 no

  • AUDI POWER QUATTRO

  • the best tranny is mitsubishi tc sst

  • @redeemer777 Wrong. The best in the world is by far the DSG/S tronic used in VW/Audi car and the PDK of Porsche.

  • awesome new engine and tranny

  • horrendly car

  • The speed of those shifts is mesmorizing. I have an A6 3.0T...wish it came with dual-clutch instead of tiptronic. Any plans to chip your car?

  • i think the A6 3.0 shifted 'quickly' but not 'S4' quickly! No plans to chip the car. It's not mine :P

  • damn sounds good... hmmm wel... guess i'll b e buying one of these soon and trading in the S6... Fuel economy is a good justification...

  • this is an 's-tronic' dual clutch box iirc....the 335i doesnt have that

  • Of course the BMW has a double clutch transmission. DKG. 335i has it and the M3 also.

Don't post wrong information if you haven't informed yourself properly...

  • Speaking of not posting wrong information.. its called a 'DSG' not a 'DKG'. Do you live in north America? If so, I'll buy you a 335i with DSG if you can find one on sale here.

  • in fact, i'll even buy you a 335i with the BMW dual-clutch transmission, SMG, if you can find one of those, too. DSG is volkswagen..PDK is Porsche, SMG is BMW

  • Speaking of false accusations ;)

DSG is VW, S-Tronic is Audi and DKG is BMW. DoppelKupplungsGetriebe. SMG is a completely different type of transmission. Its an electrohydraulic automated clutch not a dual clutch. SMG is directly comparable to the R-Tronic from the R8 and E-Gear from the Lamborghinis.

As the name already says: S(equential) M(anual) G(earbox). Since you're speaking of USA, i probably think DKG is called DCT there, which would be the direct translation.

  • I believe here, that nobody uses 'DCT', but rather marketing names like DSG, PDK, TC-SST, and so on

  • Thats what i found on youtube at least. I don't really know what it would be called like in the US Market.

Can only tell you what i know here from Germany...

  • Great video, I had no idea the auto shift was this good for the S4.

For the BMW 335i, it is not like this.

  • is memory serves me, the 335i is close, and very good for an automatic though..

  • yep, and it's not available in the 335

  • @SR7800t DCT will be available for the 135 and 335iS offerings. And I believe is already offered 335i's that are not in the States.

  • interesting..i always sort of figured there was such a gearbox in europe on these cars..in North America, we only get the models that'll sell the most, really

  • Thats what i read too in a press statement of BMW USA. There is apparently "no demand" in such a transmission, and the standard auto's are good enough for US-People according to them.

Weird thing...why not let the customers choose before deciding something ? Silly move of BMW USA.

  • shame yes..its often not financially feasible to make a production run of a vehicle like that if only, say, 3 percent of ppl will opt for it

  • Yea, but there MUST be a market for that. Or Audi wouldn't go for it...at least i think so.

Besides, the average joe wouldn't care anyway HOW his clutch is designed, so why not just change the whole model palette to that tranny ?

Questions that'll never get an answer...
