It was managements brilliant idea to trade away Owen Nolan and bring in Joe Thornton. Well, so much for that idea. He's a great player but they need a whole lot more to get back to any kind of cup consideration.
They'll need to rebuilt the whole team all over again. Wonder how long it's going to take them to get to the cup now?

Yeah the Owen Nolan trade wasn't the best and he's actually done pretty well elsewhere, but it probably worked out the best for him. It's gonna be a decade or more before the Sharks can build a dynasty. McLellan is a pretty good coach but it was clear the Sharks lost focus right before the All Star Break and were all down hill then. The shake up needs to occur at the top in the Executive offices and scouts to try to build teams like the Wings do. The Wings have great scouts and team chemistry

Hey, don't bother arguing with a Sharks fan. They're all over the place making excuse, after excuse, why the Sharks are DOWN 2-0, to Anaheim. "Well, the wind factor wasn't right," "The stars are aligned properly," "Well, it's the economys fault," you know, some of the stupidest excuses. Yeah and it starts from the top down in that Organization from the coaches to the announcers and inbreed into their Fans. Hey did you see how Roenick was almost crying in his interview before Game 1 and how demoralized Joe looked in his post game interview of one of their last losses against the Ducks or Kings? The Sharks can take that President's Trophy and fill it with Band Wagon Fan Kool Aid from which they can all sip from while watching someone else win the CUP again this year. GO WINGS!

Unbelievable.. ANOTHER CANADIEN rooting for the Sharks as a BAND WAGON Fan, fucking figures. I can understand why you might hate the Wings being we kick all of CANADA's ass in Hockey and HAVE the CUP once again, but come on. If I were Canadien and have you as a son I would smother you in your sleep for rooting for an American team; especially being a BAND WAGON Shark Fan. Here's some History for you, the Sharks have NEVER WON any Playoff Series they started down 0-2 in, they'll lose in 6.

Guess you were watching a different game than I was today where the Sharks got SHUT OUT at home. Fuck the Sharks they still don't have anything on Detroit and barely beat them at home this year while getting SPANKED both times at the Joe. The Sharks won't even make it to the Conference Finals which is a shame cause I'd love to see the Wings shut all you retarded Shark fans up for good.
